best compliment I have seen given to Louis is that hes like the Steve Irwin to humans. Its so true! He's a humanist and I love that he tries to understand people, no matter who they are. Absolute legend!

Louis creates programs that make tv seem interesting but in reality there’s not many of them around.
His record of tv making is flawless. Great television from start to finish. Very few people have achieved that

Some of his stuff is really varied too, showbiz celebs, UFO enthusiasts, Neo Nazis, Lion Hunters, drug dealers, dog experts, Religious Cults, gamblers. He's obviously interested in the extremes of behaviour and belief.
An interest in fringe behavior. That would pretty much sums up that quality in myself that has caused me some trouble in my life.

The majority of people are easily brainwashed and led. Children are conditioned from day one to obey. By adulthood it feels natural to do so. It gives a sense of security, like always having a parental figure present. It also means people don’t have to think & make decisions for themselves. They’d rather have someone else making decisions and taking responsibility, because that takes effort & creates anxiety for people who are been conditioned to follow.
I agree. I tend not to follow the ‘norms’ and it does create some uncertainty and anxiety. It’s much easier to follow without question!

I don't think obsession is the right word, just curious about things that are considered a bit more underground. Judging by the favourable responses a lot of people are very curious about these things as well, so there's definitely a niche market. He covers these topics well with an equal balance of skepticism and an open mind.

12:15 Im not entirely believing Louis' cat story. Either its totally made up......or he rubbed more than just the cats belly in order for the cat to ' finish '. I do not believe ANY animal, humans included could become so aroused from having their belly rubbed that they would ejaculate. So I put it to you Mr Theroux, that you did more than just rub his belly.

I’ve not watched this, but just saw Loui opinion & belief’s on Michael Jackson on GMTV which GMTV disabled any comments on the video. His judgment & opinion was based on belief & not fact & he’s a journalist who will always go against the grain much like piers Morgan does because it drives revenue & publicity. But Loui hit an all time low for me with his comments with condemning a man who actually won his day in court & now the man is dead he thinks his opinion & belief matter, they really don’t. As a result I will never watch Louie again. Big thumbs down from me.
