I believe the most BURNING question here is, if he will make a full version of his "my money don't jiggle jiggle, it folds" song.
He has
@@mathew_mount where can i see that?

Mine is, why isn't he singing correctly? "My money doesn't jiggle jiggle"?
Who cares. You a downy or something?
"Is Louis Theroux a Beta Male?" "I might be an Omicron Male. I'm milder but I get around more..." slayed me
Yea he made the entire 'Alpha male' thing sound almost as dumb and pseudoscientific as it actually is x) Assigning generic behavioural stereotypes and attributes to people based on superficial behaviour isn't exactly useful 'psychology'...
@@guyfawkes8873 Okay but he's on telly and we're not, so... Alpha right? Right?
So clever
Same, he's hilarious
I’m surprised Netflix haven’t given him a multi million dollar contract to make documentaries for them
Lots of their staff are deeply loyal to the BBC. I’m sure they’ve given him raises as the popularity of his shows has increased.
They have the self proclaimed poor man's Louis Theroux in that host of Dark Tourist
i expect they have tried, but despite their control of their own public image they are not all that highly respected amongst the media conglomerates of the world and i think Louis' integrity keeps him to the more unbiased media sources. Netflix has a lot of vested interests to advertising and such that the BBC does not.
he’s loyal to the bbc I think and for good reason
@Sharks Are you braindead?
Louis needs to do some more lighthearted docs. He's so effortless funny. I wish he'd do one about flatearthers or something, just for the lolz.
Just watch all of his weird weekends & you'll be in heaven in that case
I wouldn't mind seeing him do one on anti-choicers that tried to get NHS staff sacked for daring to choose what goes into their bodies.
@@HermesConrad9 Weird Weekends is great! I do wish he'd do more of that.

I thought it was funnier when he said laying down he's 1/2 a foot
Me too 😂
I adore this interview. It's like we're being invited to watch the inner ramblings of Louis Theroux, and they are utterly magnificent. That, and a solid lesson in grammar and sentence structure!
If you want to hear Louis at his least guarded, I highly recommend Adam Buxton's podcast.
@@NxDoyle his off menu episode too!
That would be a good title for a show The Inner Ramblings of Louis Theroux 😃😄
I think I would love to talk to him, just rambling on. I don't know if he would consider me one of the most boring people had ever met, but if he enjoys rambling from one indepht topic to another one I am his guy
Louis is definetly a natural comedian.
Yeah. He instinctively knows what's funny but not in the "did you hear the one about..." way, the interpersonal way
Shame he's not a natural reporter

His reply to "Why is Louis Theroux not my dad?" was so genuinely wholesome, I cried.
Why Paul Theroux is not your dad?:)
@@fashionela1 for the most part, chances are he's not anyone's dad 😅
@@chfr9573 Louis looks as Paul. I don't know what are you trying to say.:) My comment is related to the fact that his father is one of the greatest writers of our time.
It was lovely, hey?
I have fancied Louis Theroux for nearly 20 years.
I see him and his family on bike ride he lives down the road from me, genuine nice guy, and he discovered tiger King so I'm giving him props for that.
I have a thing for him also!

By the time Louis reaches Attenborough age he will be in the same bracket of national treasure. Its starting to happen now. Guys a legend.
He’s a transatlantic superstar. I like his presenting style. He stays around the same volume, so no surprises when I’m stoned watching Telly.
I like how you value presenters for not harshing your buzz. Is there any that you stay well clear of because their volume fluctuates wildly?
@@grizcuz can’t think at the moment but they are out there. Some presenters with certain volume or accents I can’t watch.
@@grizcuz I know it's low hanging fruit but James Corden with his awful fake cackle would harsh anyone's buzz.
@@grizcuz Keith lemon, Alan Carr and that weird bird off towie with the mouth like an axe wound, I think she went out with Steve-O for a bit?
Its crazy how Theroux went from weird weekends to delving into the darkest corners of society. Shows how versatile and mentally strong he is as a journalist. His investigations always intruige me, im always glued to the screen. Louis theroux really is an amazing and skilled reporter, asking the questions which invoke the best and rawest responses from whoever he speaks to.
This man makes me happy. He's genuinely pure. It's wholesome.
The way Louis spoke into the mic, he really does have a comforting and soothing voice. Perhaps he should do spoken ASMR, I bet if this was to happen he would have a well viewed channel.
Yeah he needs to do one of those celebrity asmr things
He should do it as a joke but not a serious full time thing, people that do those seriously are lazy and weird
Yea a sleep hypnosis. I've been know to put on one of his shows to sleep.
I think part of what makes Louis so trustworthy is the man is not scared to ask questions that lead to larger things while also staying respectful of the people. It is a disarming quality that not many presenters have but Louis does a really incredible job of it. I remember watching Weird Weekends long ago and seeing him doing that and it has helped me a lot in daily life when asking questions.
Louis Therouxs impression of someone doing an impression of Louis Theroux sounds more like Louis Theroux than Louis Theroux does
Louis Theroux
He has a not-threatening presence. Which helps if you want to interview dangerous people.
And a genuine interest in learning the lingo of whatever subject he's documenting, and the responses of those he interviews.
He also treats his subjects with a respect that's deeply rooted in humanist principles. He always treads carefully into sensitive topics and usually has a lot of "back up plans" in case the interview goes nowhere. If you look at his old interviews vs his new ones, you realize that he has worked on his craft a lot.
He's the human equivalent to a capybara!!!
He is wittier than most of the people who define themselves as comedians.
"Full disclosure: I have, in my life, done farts."
This is why he's the preeminent journalist of our time folks.
That made me laugh
I think he pronounces it Jesus which makes it okay 😂 absolute classic

This man needs a talkshow as soon as possible
He does have a podcast, Grounded with Louis Theroux
6ft 2 in a compact no slack luckily the seats go back😉
I just love Louis's thorough style of explaining things.
not to be dramatic but i'm in love with this man
Louis sees all of these questions as just interesting jumping-off points for discussion. Because of course.
I love it how Louis Theroux uses “tidying a garage” as his metaphor for escaping human contact, which is sooo grounded it could’ve very plausibly been literal. Most people generally use quite abstract metaphors before saying “not literally” - which is Louis’ sort’ve candid charm in a nutshell (but not a literal nutshell).
4:23 brilliant explanation. People say Louis is a badass for seemingly putting himself in danger, but if you had your own show and were being filmed/looked after 24/7 would you be worried? Louis is not an idiot, he knows that under these circumstances a logical criminal would not attack him on camera.
Challenge excepted…said some criminal somewhere
I met him a couple of months ago in my local pub. He's the nicest guy you'll ever meet 👌🏻so handsome too.
6'2 in a compact, no slack
Did Louis Theroux study Latin at school? Yes, he uses fora as the plural of forum, even though forums is mostly used today.
BBC absolute madlads for editing that smelly fart line to be the cold open
Louis would make a great stand up.
Louis theroux is our british Jeff Goldblum.
To be 200% honest, Tom Cardy made 2 separate songs about this guy and youtube finally recommended this video to me to explain whom this apparently omnipresent demi-being is.

I truly desire more content from him, I really miss his documentaries. Hopefully he can find the time to do a comeback, myself and many others would appreciate it so much. 🙏
"Long may it continue, I wouldn't like to be attacked by a gang." - Louis the Man. "But it would make good footage." - Louis the Professional haha.
Louis is easily one of my favorite documentary film makers. I can't get enough of his content and thoroughly enjoyed his podcast with Joe Rogan. Thanks for all that you do Louis! Keep up the great work! 🙌
Like a fine wine, he’s getting better with age.

Love to see Louis videos pop up
He's a national treasure
There is some dry humour right there. Louis is a cool and very smart guy.
The most important question is of course: is he aware that his rap is a tiktok meme?
He's retweeted a couple of the videos 😊
And he has a TikTok account and made a video to the rap
How can you not love Louis ☺️
Stop talking about yourself like that 😆😆
Louis is effortlessly delightful.
Just wanted to say I ADORE me some Louis Theroux ANY TIME. He makes me think, he makes me laugh, he makes me love and fear for him -PACKAGE. And that 'I'm stupid, please explain' face only works in his favour. I've been working on mine for years, and find that people LOVE to talk to it. They feel they're Helping.
That's such a good way to describe it and I'm happy for you that you've achieved some degree of mastery over it.
Thank you for posting this BBC.. we love Louis.
I LOVE the way that Louis treats even the simplest question as a puzzle!
He is so entertaining and the perfect person to front any documentary.
This is the one person who the BBC should pay whatever he asks for to front as much as possible.
Imagine Louis fronting Match of the Day for instance! 😂
This cheered me up- I was so sad, now I'm laughing out loud. Thank you
Hope you’re feeling better. Watching his documentaries is a lifeline 💕
He's actually quite funny. Just another reason to like old louis

I never heard about this bloke. But after the Skeptic interview, I now feel I know him. He's like James May. Measured. Mindful. Joyful. A really enjoyable bloke
love louis so much
Such a cool character. Some really awkward documentaries and he doesn’t even bat an eyelid
"Or should I say fora?" ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love him so much haha!
The realisation that Louis is a stereotypical middle aged man.
Yeah he's old haha, back around 1999 I remember he used to be just a young dude like me and my mates, only with sideburns.......heh heh......... OMG **I'M** MIDDLE-AGED!!!!!
Some of my all time fave documentaries he has done are centered on the West Borough Baptist Church. Most people would lose their shit around those types of folk but not Louis, oh no, he handled it like a boss and I'd like to believe he helped influence the young lady that left her family over their views on society
I agree with the tweet, his voice is very comforting. Somehow, him saying the lyrics of a song without singing with autotune added sounds better than him actually singing it in the song
"I have an altitude of about.."😁😁. Can't stop laughing
I’m sorry but I saw a different side of Louis in this video! His sense of humour came out and it showed his witty side! Great video!

I know it's unlikely, but I would love to see Louis and Andrew Callaghan collaborate or interact in any form since Andrew's cited Louis as his biggest influence. Maybe he could take Louis around some classic Channel 5 locales and characters. Just a thought lol
This was quite entertaining. Funny too 😅. And educative.
