Let us all know what you think about the torque sensor!
Still trying to decide on whether that's something I want or not
{{3}} Great point! The torque sensor is definitely a game-changer in the new version of the Aventon Pace 500. It adds a whole new level of responsiveness and precision to the riding experience. Speaking of innovative e-bikes, I recently came across a new project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. It offers dual modes for indoor and outdoor use, and the most outstanding feature is that it can be charged when you're using it indoors. Plus, with its brushless 750W motor and impressive 80Nm torque, it delivers exhilarating speed and power. It's definitely worth checking out for those looking for a versatile and sustainable riding experience!
@@StellaHulliet Interesting!
Great, thorough review!
Thank you Ursula! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Have the Gen 1 and Gen 2. Love them both. Wish they came in that color when I purchased.
Wonderful to hear! It does appear to be a well-loved model. And, yes, I love the blue color too!
Thanks! Good to know about the torque sensor, which I never understood before.
Happy to help! A torque sensor really makes a difference in riding style 😁
so if you want to have electric mode without pedalling then you want cadence. if you are looking for pedal and use electric you want torque sensor?
@@ebikingtoday
Have first and second gen. Love them both. Wish they had them in that awesome color.
Nice to hear! Good choice!
Cool color!
It is!!!
I have the original Pace and absolutely love. This model with torque sensor has me pretty interested. Do you know if this model is a little quieter? Thanks for your review!😊
Good to know. I don't recall the 500.3 being noisy (and can't compare it with an earlier version). But I do absolutely love the torque sensor... I feel much more in control of my ride!
Very nice.
It really is 😆
Does the Aventon Pace 500.3 ST have a tracker incase i need to be ablet o locate it due to theft or misplaced/?
If you'd like to be able to track your e-bike, you'll have to buy a tracker separately as the Pace doesn't include one (you'd typically pay more for any bike with a tracker included) :)
@@ebikingtodayI disagree with this. The NCM T7S is the same price (in Canada) with tracking included. It also has suspension, something this bike doesn’t have but also doesn’t need because it’s not an off-road bike.
@@claudiamartin9700 Taking a look, I see that the NCM T7S is $300 more than the Pace 500. I believe you can get a tracker on Amazon for much less than this difference... but I can't speak to the quality :)
Older riders seem to be more comfortable with cadence sensor. Seems that they prefer the easier on the legs and knees that the latter provides.
Agreed Pedro... exactly why I thought it important to mention that a torque sensor isn't for everyone, even though I love it (10 years from now, I might not) :)
What is your height and what size is the bike?
I’m 5’1” and I’m showing the regular size bike. Check here for suggested sizing on regular and large frames: alnk.to/clWVbOm
This bike rides like a tank! The lack of any suspension makes for a very bumpy and jarring ride. I'm waiting for my fillings to come loose! Even with the upgraded seat, it doesn't solve the problem. I only ride on the street and paved bike trails and it still is very disappointing. I'm constantly having to tighten the kickstand bracket and handle bars as they come loose after every second ride of 20 miles or so. After my first 400 miles the brakes are now needing to be bled and fluid added. Already??? If I had to do it all over again I would definitely be looking into a more comfortable ride, even if I had to spend a few more dollars. Buyer beware.
There are a lot of variables when it comes to a comfortable ride including ride location, rider size, riding style, tire pressure, etc. I'd recommend you get a good suspension seatpost and upgraded suspension seat. Then consider if your tire pressure is too high or if you can lower it. This can all make a difference!
Thanks for that. Scratch
Thanks for checking out the review!
Doesn't everyone need a rack? I dk why it's not standard to include them.
Not everyone... but probably more need one than not!
I’d rather have fenders than a rack. But that’s the wonderful thing about all these bikes, we can customize them to make them “ours”
I bought this bike 3 months ago and it’s already defective, not worth the money
Sorry to hear that! Contact Aventon's support for help.
What's gone wrong with it?
