I always look forward to your videos. I learn a lot watching you, and personally I enjoy the longer videos, shorter videos have to much skipping and fast forwarding for me to learn.
hello dave! just wanted to let you know that i absolutely love your nomad sculpt tutorials, you’re really talented at this program, following your tutorials is fun yet frustrating… (it really is a test of patience sometimes!) but i always manage in the end, ive followed a few of your beginner tutorials and guides. recently finished the breakfast one on ur skillshare! I came to this wanting to slowly buildnip my skills to eventually model characters
Been using Nomad for a while, but always nice to come back and brush up on basics I might have forgotten or new things they may have added. Thank you for doing these!!
@drugfreedave It really is a work of art what you do in this type of videos, you teach step by step and it is something very useful for those who are learning and also for those who have been in the 3D sector for years, because it allows you to find inspiration to make new and own creations.👍🙂

Hi, very new to Nomad and glad to see your videos. Just noticed today quadremesher only provided on IOS, not Android, do you consider quadremesher as an optional tool or a magic wand? Thanks
@@drugfreedavewhen I try to it either merges the body cube to the eyes and booleans the mouth alone, or the cube shows some stripe pattern. I’m stuck there

Don’t worry too much about it starting out, it’s mostly a preference. Sometimes it’ll make cuts cleaner or less clean, but honestly I wouldn’t worry about it! Looks better on usually 👍🏾

What is smooth shading? How does it effect the object when 3d printing?
Makes the sculpt appear smooth. Normally my sculpts print smooth whether or not smooth shading was on while sculpting. I usually have it on.

how i make my clay looks that pastel color? i tried in the same mode u use but it looks dark orange
When I use a matcap, the original color is white. If you color your model other than white, matcap colors will look different
