    Doc another fantastic video!!! I'm a big hot salsa fan! Just give me chips and I want that bad boy!!! My wife and I both agree, you deserve a TV show. You're so good hosting a show it's insane and you're descriptive! Also the garlic part had me dying laughing! LOL

      Thanks brother! I like garlic….A LOT! probably over did it a bit for most but it’s how I like it. Work on a Frank’s red hot sauce right now for wings. It looks promising, my cayennes are about done so I thought I’d give it a shot. LOVE HOT WINGS!

      Anthony, thank you! That is very kind of you tos say.
      I think this is one of those everyday sauces that people have their own way of doing things, which makes sense since salsa is such a personal thing, that it just doesn't have that many people searching for it. I have a Frank's Red hot video that I've been trying to get out, that I think a lot of people will enjoy more. Things like that tend to de-mistify products they buy. Plus I love it and use it on our wings everytime we cook them!
      Thanks so much for your comment!

      It’s definitely one of those I like to make several times a year if I can. I’ve got a few others that I’ve slowly been working on over the last few years to kind of get it down to a science for every day, salsa for people that don’t like things that are really spicy, I’m not quite there yet, but I think I’m getting very close to that as well!

      Thank you so much! It is quite spicy, and it is true I do like very spicy foods. I go through phases though. Sometimes I want just a little bit of spice and more flavor common other times. I just want lots of heat! This year I’m growing.Habanadas for the flavor of habaneros, but very little spice. What’s great about most of these types of recipes that you can substitute in the peppers you like, to turn the heat to your taste.
      Thank you so much for letting me know how it went! I appreciate the kind words as well, and I hope to have more coming soon on different hot sauces, and salsas!

    I make mine almost the same except I use 5 or 6 chili de arbol.. and I broil my veggies in the oven.. and simmer my chilis and garlic in a fry pan.. combine all..mix em up and chomp down

    • @TexasGardenDoc
      @TexasGardenDoc  Před rokem +1

      Sounds amazing! I always seem to fail at broiling in the oven. Do you do individual veggies, like just the onion or just tomatoes, or just garlic, or do you just pull the parts out that are done early. I always end up either under chatting or burning!

    • @captaincrunch72
      @captaincrunch72 Před rokem

      @@TexasGardenDoc the tomatos and onions usually finish near the same time.. the garlic burns to quick to put in oven so i justy toass them in the pan with arbol chili and a dash of oil.. only take a couple minutes for those. as they will burn fast.

    • @TexasGardenDoc
      @TexasGardenDoc  Před rokem

      Makes total sense! Do you half your onions and tomatoes? I think when I do it maybe my onions are too thin and my tomatoes too thick? Maybe quartering everything would help?

      Great idea! I did add some pineapple to a fermented hot sauce I made. It wasn’t bad, but I think next time I’ll try adding it at the end of the process. That sweet and spicy combo would be killer!
