I found out that you can essentially build upwards forever if you have a foundation at the very bottom, I ended up building a base on top of a mountain that has both Ore and Coal rocks and after leveling out most of the location with foundations, I started building upwards to make my base and noticed that the stairs would continue to go up as long as there was a foundation underneath, it's really interesting to see
While I already found the answer on why building sucked (tip 2), I appreciate that you mentioned this. A week ago I was searching and trying to figure out how to accomplish this. Thanks much for putting it out there for people!
Love seeing everyone so excited over Palworld. Survival games/mon games aren't for me but I'm stoked for everyone who's getting the not-Pokemon game they've always wanted.

Glad you're doing Palworld vids, TV. I heard Fallout mention it and wow, this game came out of nowhere and is fun. And I've never done anything Pokemon related in the past lol.
Good tips. The other night, I came across a nice run of spires out of the water by the volcano lands with lots of eggs, and I've been on egg-hunts ever since. I'm in mid-game, and I already have a Pyrin Noct, Ragnahawk, Verdash, Reptyro, and am about to start breeding. (Need to catch a beegarde.)

For tip 1, you can wear cold and heat armor at the same time. Simply wear heat armor, then have cold armor in your inventory. Drag your glider out of its slot and on to the cold armor, and the cold armor will equip in the glider slot. Now you have two armors! And glider still works!
Note that this is probably a bug and will presumably be patched later. Especially because one makes you bald and the other makes you T-pose while gliding. Funny, but definitely unintentional.

you can build stairs upto an empty space. hover your cursor over the adjacent wall then rotate it so it is going up the way you want it.

Also make a vixy ranch asap for gold, spheres and arrows. I usually have 1000+ on hand and spam them while my pal fights. If i fail to catch, at least I can cancel an attack or two

Hey TV - Your last tip, you show the preview with a green sphere then cap with yellow, which kinda oversells the baton's value/efficacy. I've personally not noticed a difference with the cap% after a baton, but will at least have another go at it with your vouching for it.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but whenever I stun pals the catch rate only goes up like 5%. I smack em with the stun baton until they have electricity arcing on them and they're twitching then throw the ball. 5 percent bonus usually.
@@SutasSjet ye the same, single digit increase for caching aint worth it, maybe its decent at the start, but later on sphere amount aint worying anymore
my bases are designed so that pals don't get stuck. no enclosed spaces, as low to ground as possible, add ramps so they can run from top of every item you build bc they will always climb anything you build and get stuck without ramps
Am I the only one who finds the ability to capture humans hilarious? This is one reason I love this over pokemon. It's just a game dang it, you get to do things you would never do in real life.

For fast ground mounts, Eikthydeer and it's ground variant are actually faster then Direhowl thanks to it's attack Antler Uppercut gives a massive speed boost while also on a short cooldown. You can move much faster then sprinting on a Direhowl using this attack. You can also double jump with Eikthydeer whereas the dog can't.

I've been playing ARK for years so I was used to the building but I can see why people who have not gone through the grind wouldn't know how to build right.

This game….. never heard about it before. Im so addicted right now. its such a fun game. When im playing it i feel like a kid again
instead of chest collecting for pal spheres early game, get a vixy and place it in your ranch. She will dig up blue spheres, arrows, and maybe even coins.

I don't see myself doing bases with multiple floors. The pals' pathing is already bad enough on the ground. I can't imagine some of my alphas getting through doors or inner stairs without getting stuck.

Don't really understand how you could play survival games and POSSIBLY think the building system is bad. It has some quirks that could be fixed, but they all do. This system is well thought out and conveniently designed, you can go SO fast once you are used to it. Beats the HELL out of Ark, Conan, and Rust at least.
Why can’t I use stairs to create a third story, because as soon as you try to place the second staircase in your home, it deletes itself
