I clicked the video and let it play in my headphones. Until this moment i had no idea what game he was playing, which is peak content imo.
It's interesting what NL said at the beginning about it feeling pointless if either the ball or the hill's level are removed. Sometimes life feels like there's no boulder and sometimes it feels like you're going up at a 90 degree angle. Either pointless or soul crushingly difficult.
I recently accomplished something that had been a miserable grind for six years and everyone thinks I should be happy, but I'm just like "Bro, they took my boulder away!"

I graduated as a Chem.E. but I'd argue that physics and C.S. are both harder than Chem.E. I know you were joking but Bio can be really hard depending on the institute. C.S. is super easy and then all of a sudden they transport you into the matrix with data structures.
Or literally force you in the matrix with linear algebra and NN calculations where you need to manually predict backpropagation weights.
As a professional software developer that deals with financial stuff and trying to make a game on my spare time, I can confirm I take a lot more care at the office than I do while making sure the hitbox on the character model's nuts registers a collision.

I just dont get it. The elden ring playthrough was fun for both him and chat. The multiplayer visit was a lot of fun. He bantered through it so idk what hes complaining about regarding its complexity.

Im graduating from a masters degree in computer science next month (or at least I'm pretty sure I'll graduate, not got the results yet) and I can confirm the coding part is easy, but the theory part is not. Formal methods and maths modules were crazy but those are also the only ones that benefit from paying £40,000 for a degree in it whereas learning to code is done better and for free on CZcams.
In the middle of my degree I did a year as a software engineer, I joined the company the same time as a self taught programmer. I was typically more efficient and wrote theoretically better code, but also he got paid more just because he was a proper employee and frankly the company didn't care how efficient we were as long as it worked because optimising code would just become another task for someone else later.

Just feels like such a waste of time, and you have to babysit it for multiple minutes, and there's time limits involved, and sometimes it comes out wrong; same steps, different results; AND to top it all off, it _always_ tastes better when someone else makes it, so why even bother doing it yourself anyway?! ...... Just get canned soup guys.
Cooking, like cleaning, is a skill. You can't just follow a recipe to get good results, you have to learn the theory and practice it. At some point you had to have learned that hot water is more effective than cold or about soaking or when to use brushes versus a sponge when cleaning. Cooking is the same way. I recommend ChefJeanPierre here on YT if you want to actually improve. He teaches the why and how.
