The exotic class items are available now via the exotic mission dual destiny. To access this exotic mission you must complete a few simple tasks on the pale heart. And then form a duo fireteam and coordinate one of each; a light and dark subclass (prismatic counts as either). Now its time to take on the exotic mission which features a few puzzles including vow of the disciple mechanics and a lot of resonant splinters.
To get to the mission start point it is actually must faster to travel from the blooming and backtrack towards the landing.
But here is how to solve them:
Exotic Class Armour: 0:00
The 3 Wizards: 0:12
Locating the Exotic Mission: 0:36
Mission Prerequisites: 1:06
Symbol Matching: 1:30
Splinter Matching: 2:13
Boss Part 1: 4:43
Boss Part 2: 5:13 - Hry
you only need to run the mission once to unlock the class items then you can farm them solo from any chest in the pale heart

@rmikelol the main obstacle will be the vow of disciple symbols if you’ve never done the raid. Pull up the symbols on a second monitor or your phone.
The rest of the mission as long as you can read a analog clock then your fine.
If you are not good then having a somewhat of a guide will help but you can do it. I was just meming on you, but the right build and the right teammate will guarantee you can do it.
I hope they make a way where we can get these class item solo... no offense to the community but I do not want to talk with most of you.

you shoot the ones your buddy is missing, step 6 is saying you need buff to shoot them
It's not even math, you're just shooting the ones linked for both of you.
You say you're missing 1 5 and 9
Your partner says he's missing 2 3 and 7
So you shoot 4 6 and 8.
It's that simple
^A lot of things in destiny are semi confusing until you just run it. But this is simplest answer.

I love this mission, I’m still trying to pass this. I love that it has raid like mechanics forces me to think remember symbols and communicate with my team mate 👍👍
The secret bosses won’t spawn if you haven’t progressed enough in the post-campaign quests. None of the guides mention this and I spent days trying to get them to spawn, you can’t simply do overload and have it work without progressing Micah-10’s quests first (they showed up once I had received all the campaign weapons as rewards)

Was the same for me, didn't spawn in until I'd done two of Micah-10s quests. I'd done 4-5 overthrows without any spawn until that point

Bruh . . . Maybe I'm crazy. .. But if you have to shoot the splinters that are on for both players why wouldn't you call out the on splinter for the one with the buff so they can then shoot the numbers that match . . .🤔🤔🤔

To be fair as a girl I’ve been burned before. I have literally no friends that play and tbh I like playing alone. But for group activities where I can’t vibe check ppl… the mic stays off.

I dont like talking to people in game. Simple as that. I am a teacher and talk all day, when I come home I don't feel like talking. I just want to silently blast aliens.

If both are prismatic then it should auto assign one of you dark and one light. Otherwise you guys will have to decide who's going to be a dark class and who's gonna be a light one.

For the love of God bungie, why isn’t this quest doable solo. IMO content like this shouldn’t require anything but you. It’s not a raid, it’s an item quest. It should. Be. Solo. Maybe they were trying to be cute and make it ‘dual destiny’ because the exotic class items have two exotic perks. But it ain’t cute. It’s annoying.
I can live with dual mission, but the call outs are a terrible idea. Leave that to Dungeons and Raids.

People complaining about this quest being hard is dumb, you literally get an exotic item that can have TWO exoctic perks from ANY exotic armor. Why would they make such a game changing item easy to get?
It's almost like playing a multiplayer online game may require you to play online with someone....that fact you only have to do it once and you can farm it in the overworld solo after should be a huge selling point. Go play red dead or skyrim if you want a full solo experience and stop complaining. It's pathetic.
