This is a pretty in depth service of the rear Brake caliper. The process is very similar for the front brakes. I will make a video going into detail about that shortly. If you have any question feel free to comment below or message me on my Instagram.
I love how you explain the what, why, and how.
Awesome job. Didn't even know all that went into those calipers. Very cool!!
I've often found that people who are really good at what they do lack the ability to convey that knowledge to others. You, on the other hand, seem to be a born teacher.
So glad I found your channel! So informative!
Great channel Mike..methodical approach n very informative..thanks 👍 uk subscriber
Nice! Just shared this video on the Community section of my channel and on Instagram.
Thanks for this great detailed video. 👍
Thank you for this, Mike! Please create a similar one for front brakes when you get a chance. Specifically interested in front brake's floating rotor's seized bobbins' cleanup and whether those seized up bobbins can cause pulsating breaking experience at low speeds(mine does while breaking under 15 mph, and no noticeable pulsing when breaking at higher speeds). Thank you!
Honestly, something I've always wondered about. Thanks!
Hi Mike , the idea of doing "minor "repairs is appealing. I have this fear though that I won't remember what goes where when putting things back together again 😕
Great video!!! Thanks!!!
Loving it !
Awesome content man. It’d be great if you could do a video on how to replace fork oil for bikes with electronic adjustable suspension please. Thanks!
Nice detailed video. I go through brake pads fast 😜
Great job, Mike! But shouldn't there be put any grease on the piston after cleaning it, just to maintain the function of the sealing?
how often should the caliper, rotor, and pads be changed? i just did my 10k service and the dealer says the rear brakes are worn and i don't have brakes so they wouldn't let me leave with my bike. i've been upsold almost 2k for everything and it sucks that i didn't know better. any input helps
Great films! What grease you are using? Thanks ahead.
Once you're done with using the brake clean spray, you can remove the latex gloves and have a lot better dexterity. Grease isn't going to hurt your finger's.
