  • This is sort of a sequel to this video • Skyrim ASMR | Walking ... where I walked from Riften to Solitude! I've been wanting to make another Skyrim video but didn't feel like recording another one of my huge entire questline videos. I will make one soon, just not yet! I hope you enjoy this relaxing walk across Skyrim :)

      @Cyrus Albright Hollow Knight I love some musics yes. For Skyrim, well, for me, these musics are really immersive, and so relaxing. Far horizons, dawn, kyne's peace ecc, there are really peaceful, and that is why I'm in love with this game and these musics.

    It's so strange to have grown up with Skyrim. I remember watching my brother play it when I was like 7, and it had just came out on the Xbox 360. I was really scared of all the dragons and frostbite spiders and draugrs, despite them being the point of the game. So most of the time I would just walk around and pick flowers and buy dresses from the shops. I've been playing this game longer than I've known any of my friends. And I've been told the other games are way better, but Skyrim will always be my favorite. :'-) ❤️

    I like to do an overencumbered walk from Markarth to Solitude to Riften "run" at least once a playthrough.
    Skyrim may not have the best visuals in comparison to similar and more recent games, but I still think it is a gorgeous game that, though buggy as all heck, will stand up for some time with or without mods.

      If ES6 doesn't seriously up the quality of pretty much everything from Skyrim (and I'm pretty sure it will, considering how long we still have to wait) then yes. But when ES6 comes out, pretty sure it will blow Skyrim and all the other previous ES games out of the water.

      I feel the same about Oblivion. Now don't get me wrong, it aged in a very interesting way, but there's something so gorgeous about Oblivion's landscape. The graphics are absolute butt and potato face is at an all time high, but it evokes such a wonderful high fantasy setting that nothing else really captures well, at least to me. Plus the music is amazing...

    • @MetaCynical
      @MetaCynical Před 3 lety +2

      @@ArgentDeer There definitely is something about Oblivion I thoroughly enjoy and I do believe it's the vibrancy and overall brightness mixed with I think underdone bloom effects that bring out something Skyrim lacks. Three of my favorite "picturesque" locations for me is the Surilie Brothers Vineyards right outside the Skingrad city gates, the road along the hill overlooking Anvil and the view of the island of the Strange Door to the Shivering Isles, as seen from the little bridge right outside Bravil, I just think it's awesome.
      And as for my favorite walks in Oblivion, my go to was a slow hike from Wawnet Inn outside the Imperial City to Chorral to say hello to Dar-Ma and her mother (I like them, they're nice), then leaving through the northmost gate to follow the windiest road in Cyrodiil all the way to Bruma to sell salables and then my ultimate destination of Frostcrag Spire to stash all my artifacts and keepsakes.

    Was 'tai' (toggle auto intelligence) the console command you used to freeze the enemies and NPCs? In that case, I recommend using 'tcai' (toggle combat auto intelligence) instead. It doesn't freeze the NPCs, it just disables combat, so they would all move normally but not attack you nor each other.

    • @vixii_spl
      @vixii_spl Před 3 lety +5

      Bailey McDonald The graphics on their own are pretty good, especially for the time period this was made, and the game play is... iconically buggy, but good, nonetheless lol. For me, what really makes it stick is just how much story and gameplay is packed into the world. Storytelling is generally hit or miss tbh, but when it hits, it *slaps.* The soundtrack and good graphics just build on top of that- Skyrim’s OST for me is in my top 5, maybe even top 3. Secunda alone combined with the atmosphere of the mountains near winter hold gives me so many feels. It’s an overall solid play, and is super nostalgic for a lot of people.

      For me it's mostly nostalgia. It was the first serious game I played, and it happened to be a really good game for its time. The soundtrack is a big part of it, as well as the characters and some of the storylines. Especially the thieves guild storyline, for me. There's also the fact that it has many things to do. I've been playing for years and sometimes I still find things I didn't know about. And of course, the graphics were a big thing at the time. They still kinda are for me, even if they're crappy. I can't help but love the game, anyways.

      Hmm 🤔 as someone who’s in a long distance relationship I’ve never experienced cuddles or any physical contact do to literally not being in any relationship for my 17 years of life till recently haha 😆 so I’m used to living without them. For others I’m not to sure, maybe a video call from start to sleep helps 🤷‍♂️ not to sure

      My husband was in the military for 20 years. You get used to it. Also, some people you just love so much you would rather have them in your life on a limited basis than not at all.
