I hope the designers of this road have provided large capacity underground stormwater sewers in their design that can quickly convey rainfall excess or direct surface runoff to the ocean adjacent to Tema and Accra. This is critical to provide adequate drainage of the road and prevent it from becoming “a motorway river” during short duration and intensive rain storms, that may lead to massive flooding in a metropolis that is already plagued with perennial flooding problems.
Nice and very urgent idea. I only wonder where the money is coming from when at the same time 3 big other projects are completely on hold and abandoned? Building other big projects but not being able to finish the other one does not make sense.
Government is in talks to secure a loan of the said $338 Million as announced, but on the case of abandonment that’s the tragic thing that we all can’t wrap our heads around🤦🏾♂️! Projects ought to be completed

The contracts for the project have already been awarded but the budget allocations for the project is what is stalling at the moment, as soon as government rolls out the funds the project is as good as completed
