- the first 30 mins showcase but Unfortunately with the terrible gameplay performance issues on PC Wuthering Waves is almost unplayable (I got really sad) I wonder how to fix the lag and bugs/glitches? These issues also occur on mobile etc!

Why is everything poorly optimized these days yet they still release and get people wanting to play but then can't. My PC should not struggle with this game and we should also not be forced to use a 60fps cap in 2024. That is a joke.
Considering even triple a hundred million dollar games with thousands of employees sturggle to release a functioning product, it's a miracle optmization is the only major problem. It's just how games are made is the problem. Everyone is just trying shove more and make more content because they think they need to. Graphics are exponentionally more complex, games are getting way bigger, way more hardware need to be taken into account. Even Elden ring one of the best games ever made by one of the most progressive dev teams in the modern age, still had masaive optimization problems on release. It's just impossible to release a open world game with hundreds of hours of content with thousands of useless things to do and test all of that without releasing it to the public. If they just cut all the useless crap it would be better. We don't hundreds of npcs with random useless dialouge, we don't need random useless matariels all through out the open world to craft useless one time food buffs, it doesn't have to be that huge, it can just be smaller denser open world with carefully crfated structuces and levels lile elden rings legacy dungeons that are fun to explore. Turns creating huge amounts of flat land with thousands of complex but useless object and entites having to be loaded in and rendered at all times whilst plastering everything with character animatioms that bombared the game specifal effects, calculations, movement, camera angles, tanks performance. The main problem is how slow they are at adressing it. They should've gotten plenty of data and know all the complaints in and out by now, yet they have done nothing.

A few things, it was made with optimizations skewed towards mobile, they don’t have every system to do troubletesting, and also people did not give enough relevant feedback during the beta when compared with people’s feedback recently
CBT had a 120fps option, so I think they are still working on it.

It's logical that the game might be have issues on release, they are fixing issues one by one hopefully the ping issue is fixed quickly

I will give this a try been having the same problem but i just got used to it hopefully kuro sorts out the issue because at first i couldn't get into the game because the game would crash as soon as i tried to load into the world but they fixed it so hopefully they fix the ping problem as soon as possible
I was having a crap ton of issues and it did indeed help. It's funny how everyone comments to act like they have no issues and people are crazy for the game not working for them like you and I.

im playing this game in a very low spec phone that came out almost 4 years ago . and due t ping issue every time it goes into yellow it always end up in 999 ping. lets hope this will work with my potato phone

The thing that causes my game to literally combust is the audio. If i turn my graphics all the way up but the audio off, it runs flawlessly. As if it ware intended.
If i have any audio, even if i turn the settings to low, its gone lol

Have you tried downloading the game from the client itself? I've been playing on PC since launch and haven't had any issues whatsoever on the PC version.
That's how I play yeah from the client itself. Not sure of any other way to play on PC? I got it straight from their website.

Did you download the game on your SSD or HDD? I was having issues with my game on HDD, I just deleted it and installed it on my SSD, and it works just fine now.

I have 4070 pc but my game stutters alot and its annoying af, is there any fix to it ? Disabled v-sync and dlss, updated graphics drivers too, when in windowed mode the res is 1440p but when i switch fullscreen sometimes textures dont load like low lod bias so blank npc faces but windowed mode fixed that its only stuttering alot

I feel like they just need more time. Certain Gacha games played like crap until they kept updating it. The same applied for Solo Leveling Arise. I think it's best to just wait a bit longer.
We can't compare solo arise to Ww in term of optimization, I never had a single crash nor fps lose in SL not even in genshin at day 1 as much as I have in Ww on 4090 even, this game is just a mess at launch and still till this day until they release couple of patches or who knows might get even worse xd
my ping is just fine around 10-200 ping but it's still lagging
reduced the ping and the lag but the lag was still extremely intolerable. The spikes werent as high but would still go up to 400+ms then the game would freeze. Im giving up until they fix the issues its basically unplayable and frustrating
Yes LITERALLY what I've been facing I gave them to Friday them Im going to stop playing and next Monday before I completely uninstall until its fixed if it ever WILL be fixed. I usually dont comment let alone reply in YT comments but I couldn't ignore this one.

I’ll just log in and get the rewards for now until its fixed. So happy Im not the only one, it seems the majority is experiencing the same thing

u were luck to have the compatible cpu and no it's nothing to do with high end because even high end ones are facing some stutters it's just the right ones who aren't
I feel like the lag spike has more to do with servers than the local rig. I've got a really beefy computer and I've messed with every setting but the stuttering has no improvement. It's definitely server side which not much i can do.
My pin is great but my cha. are Pixelated and some time see thru (I don't how to spell it sorry)
