I know Ben didn't win, but he is my favorite magic player on YT. If someone sees this let him know! I love how he is always happy, smiling, cheerful, and just hanging with his friends. Blake is always cheering for someone else when they do great, Shea is just a sweetheart, and CGB loves helping to make sure everyone hits their triggers and doesn't lie about what biggest threats are. I love this playgroup so much! Thanks for the great content.

Btw ninjitsu can’t change what the creature is attacking. There are a bunch of other ninjitsu shenanigans, though.

@@BlakeMTG i believe the confusion is caused by the fact that Zareth San 'can' and has a ninjutsu-like ability.
He also used a colorless mana to activate the filter land, has to be a blue or black mana to activate that ability on Sunken Ruins.

Double Vision makes a copy, not a cast. Zada would get +6/+6, but the other two creatures would only get +3/+3.
Fallen Shinobi let's you cast both the cards, doesn't have to be 1 of the 2.
This is the most wholesome Commander series in existence, and after only watching for a few months, it has quickly captured my heart and is absolutely my favorite Commander show of all time. Congrats on your win, Blake! ❤️

This is probably the most attacking I've ever seen! Love how the result could have gone either way. Really feel for Shea. I've run 44 lands in my (brawl) decks and still been stuck on 3 lands the entire game, the frustration is real.
I know the shows called “worst” but I think having a judge would really help CBG!

I'm sure chat or other comments have established this already, but referencing the interaction regarding Ninjutsu/Zareth San (as per mtg wiki):
Zareth San can be attacking a different player/planeswalker than the one that the returned creature was attacking, which is not case for (the) creature put onto the field by the ninjutsu ability.
702.49c A ninjutsu ability may be activated only while a creature on the battlefield is unblocked (see rule 509.1h). The creature with ninjutsu is put onto the battlefield unblocked. It will be attacking the same player or planeswalker as the creature that was returned to its owner’s hand.
I enjoyed it! Wish there were more cards to be shown on screen, but seriously, really enjoyed it.
That was fun. Was gutted for Shea not getting that 4th land on time. Would have loved to see death by walls!!!! Great game though guys, I'm new to commander, only played historic brawl on arena but am really tempted to find a commander I like and get back into paper mtg.

Wall of Junk in it's latest print shows it has Defender! So it's all good for Shea. Would have love to seen her get more mana out and let that deck rip!

Blake played 2 lands on his extra turn which let him shuffle with scalding tarn (second land). Used top to look at a shuffled deck to kill Shea.
Noticed that one too. But we all know it gets complicated with a full grip on options.
It didn't matter for the outcome because Blake could have just attacked CGB with the unblockable creature, but for future notice when you ninjutsu it enters attacking the same player as the creature that was returned to hand. So, in this case, the Fallen Shinobi would have attacked Shae.

I’m pretty sure Double Vision doesn’t work the way you want it to with Zada, she only triggers to copy the spell if you cast it, so the copy from Double Vision wouldn’t be copied further

On the other hand - POSSIBILITY STORM goes so hard in zada.
Loved the interactions, great game all around. Keep thinking fogs are underrated in commander when seeing explosive all or nothing attacks like in this one.
I don't think double vision and zada work, because Zada says when you cast and double vision just copies the spell it doesn't trigger on cast effects.
Don't you have to pay blue or black Mana to activate the ability on sunken ruins? Blake uses his mana vault mana to so which is colorless ^^ Nothing the less it'S a great show and I love all of you 🙂
This table is played with 3 of the commander decks I own (Arcades, Yuriko & Zada), so it was very entertaining to watch 👍🏻
Ps: Advice to Ben, the quality of creatures in a Zada deck is not as important, concentrate on making as much 1/1s as possible (even if Goblin tokens) instead and get copying with Zada

Zada triggers whenever you *cast* the instant or sorcery. Double Vision copies the spell. Copying a spell does not *cast* the spell, unless it specifically says to cast it.
707.10. To copy a spell, activated ability, or triggered ability means to put a copy of it onto the stack; a copy of a spell isn't cast and a copy of an activated ability isn't activated.

So I was curious about copied spells triggering Zada. Apparently they don't, so Ben wouldn't have pumped his whole board twice. It would have triggered Zada once for the whole board, but the copy would only have pumped Zada

Not when all the walls have Flying, they can't. When THAT happens you need to go UNDER them (with a Goblin Digging Team)

14:00 You guys were misinformed I guess, a creature that comes in via Ninjutsu ability definitely can NOT have its choice of who to attack, it must come in attacking the same player or Planeswalker that the creature returned to hand was attacking.

I would recommend reading the rulings on Ninjitsu. As far as anything I can find it says that you can only ninjitsu after blockers have been declared which means your attack target has already been selected and cannot be changed unless by an additional cards effect.
Not entirely true. You can ninjutsu any unblocked, attacking creature, meaning you can ninjutsu before blockers are declared (why you'd want to is another matter). You are, however, correct that the player being attacked cannot be changed.

If You put creature attacking in play without any special extra tekst (like the same player etc.) you can alwasy choose with player it attacks. When Ninjitsu was designed, commnader was not popular - so they didnt think of this interaction ;)

@@MareczqZglos But in order to Ninjitsu you have to swap out an existing attacker that was not blocked which means you already chose the player it attacked

21:16 - CGB "Ben if you don't attack me I won't attack you". Proceeds to wipe Ben out of the game next turn by attacking him.. oookay. Obviously Ben was okay with that but kinda felt bad for him after you said that and he tapped out on Blake.
if someone pulls that in our pub, has a real hard time to find a table in the future. this is by far the lowest of lows.

Zareth San doesn't have ninjutsu, he has "2UB, Return an attacking Rogue you control to owner's hand: Put Zareth San from your hand onto the battlefield tapped and attacking", so since he isn't ninjutsu, he isn't bound to ninjutsu's rule to attack the same target.
@@necrochan7620 I think whoever told Blake it could was thinking about the rule stating that when a creature enters attacking, you choose which player/planeswalker the creature is attacking, which work almost everytime (including with Zareth San), but Ninjutsu is an exception.

Though it shouldn't really matter anyway, since arcades only really cares about defender.
@@zaifir8119 All creatures with the creature type 'wall' have defender. So it does matter, a great deal.
@@ThisIsAigle Whether it's a wall or not is not important unless the deck also has wall tribal synergies.
Creatures with 'Wall' as one of their creature types do not automatically gain defender, you can still attack with your changelings.
Wall of Junk has Defender as an Abillity in it's card text, so it works with Arcades. It would still work just fine even if it wasn't a wall.
@@zaifir8119 You're a special kind of stupid aren't you? Every single creature with the Wall type was given Defender as a keyword to replace 'Walls can not attack'. Wall of Junk in particular has gone through multiple erratas. The first to add missing lines of text. Those being the creature type of wall, and 'Walls can not attack'. THEN it got errata'd again when the keyword Defender was released, just like every other wall. You need to grab yourself some more education, or better yet, stop talking out your ass.

I dont think double vision works with Zada. Zada cares about the cast and you dont cast copies unless specified. Don’t think it mattered much with all the ninja shenanigans Blake was accomplishing.
