City, Country â I am on a journey to visit Toraja, known as the death city in Indonesia. I will be catching a flight from Makassar to a city called Palopo and then making the 2-hour windy journey to the city centre.
You can book direct flights form Makassar to Toraja, but they only fly on Mon,Wed & Fri and unfortunately were sold out when I was booking the night before.

That cab driver was so nice. Charging 200k instead of 800k. What a good soul â€
Maybe because he likes taking tourists, it's something he can tell his friends about
May be do same thing, get friend different country đ
I agree, that visiting remote village or small cities needs a guide, to coverage hidden gems or the history of the place
Yeah itâs good to learn with them
â@@LukeDamantTry bro, take the fast train in Southeast Asia, the first one in Southeast Asia, the train speed is 350 kilometers,...and the newest fast train in Indonesia, Jakarta - Bandung, Bandung Lembang tourist spot, and Jalan Branda, and Dusun Bambu, and Ciwidey ,..as soon as possible bro, try the most sophisticated fast train in Southeast Asia for the first and newest time
As long as it is not a scammer guide...
Glad you uploaded, makes my day
Enjoyed this video!
come to Toraja, South Sulawesi, is very worth it because you guys can see many things, like the traditional Toraja funeral ceremony, ancient stone graves, and a complex of rock graves in cliffs with caves containing coffins and human remains. Tongkonan traditional houses, museums, etc.
If you guys are not in a hurry or budgeting, I strongly recommend taking the bus to go there because this is a cheaper way than taking the plane. By bus, it costs only $13-$14 for an 8-hour journey.
Kalimantan is Borneo.
đ
Should be on your visit list.
The lady shows the torajan house, and say Kuburan, means Graveyard.
Thanks for your support â€đ
Yay! Another epic video by the legend!
Cheers for watching đ

Thanks đ

I really enjoy watching this episode. So funny! đ
i'm from toraja but never using any flight from makassar to taraja, i prefer to use bus with 8 hour long journey so i can enjoying the view longer hehe
Looking good Luke!Safe Travels xxxđđđđđđđđ
The price for public transportation from Palopo to Toraja varies; it is from 80K to 150K per person with rental taxis or private taxis (one person only). From Makassar to Toraja by bus, it starts at 200K-300K with AC. This transportation cost is not fixed, as it is influenced by fuel prices, which can sometimes double. However, that is the basic price.
Very nice video,I love it.â€â€â€

Hello Luke.
Splendid!
From Craig. UK:)
One of the many things I love about Indonesia is the cultural and scenic diversity. Toraja is definitely unique and I'm sure you will have a chance to see a lot of interesting things -- One other thought that you will find at the funeral ceremony is that the sacrificed buffalos an pigs are cooked and distributed to the dozens (or hundreds) of mourners from the family and nearby villages -Thanks for the interesting vid
Looking great and slim! đđŒ
8:35 Kalimantan is how Indonesian called Borneo island, the third largest island in the world. Here we don't have many people, mostly still covered by the jungles and natural beauty. But here I am living in the most densely populated city on the whole Kalimantanđ€Š

"Brappa ouuurrrr đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł brappa coffee?" fair play trying mate! If you haven't learned enough yet just write down a few essentials before leaving so you have it on your phone when you need it. If you need some help on your next trip just gimme a shout đ
