Nice video mate but please use a trolley jack and axle stands as it's much safer, these little jacks are made to quickly change your tyres.

i agree with Wazzy boy, you could so easily of been seriously hurt or even killed, never work under a car without axle stands and if you don't have any then borrow some, thank you for the video though, showed me what i needed to know.

No worries. I didn't have the wheels removed. The car would fall on the wheels. Otherwise, I will always secure the car with a support.

@@kmarkoThe wheels arent enough, the downward bounce and weight of the car coming down would be enough to bring the vehicle down with enough force to crush your skull. If you don't own a jack stand, take a tire off and put it under your vehicle as i use to when i was starting out as a mechanic.

Can you tell me how to reset the computer so that there is no announcement anymore that the additive level is too low ?

    • @kmarko

You must do it by autodiagnostic program. For example DiagBox-Lexia.

AdBlue is nothing to do with the Particulate Filter. AdBlue is used in SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) to convert NOx into water and Nitrogen. YOu may have a vehicle with a DPF AND an SCR to meet Euro 6 emissions, but older cars will just have the DPF system. It is however, very important that you use the right type of additive. Always check first the correct type of additive you need as some of the types CANNOT be mixed together.
