ARK: Survival Ascended has completely recreated and redesigned the artwork and worlds of ARK to take advantage of the latest in videogame technology, Unreal Engine 5, using high-end graphics features such as fully dynamic Global Illumination (“Lumen”), so that light bounces realistically of off surfaces and provides realistic reflections, and advanced mesh streaming (“Nanite”) of hundreds of millions of triangles for extreme detail.

The new billding makes changes things alot I love the concept of being able to place turret's on anything and every bild seams to look badass and not ugly
love the effort and discussion, but maybe create these defenses in enemy tribe when testing on SP to give people a better understanding. Feels like a normal convo I have with tribe mates but without any new info

more for the rocket running factor on those builds and what they did with the turret placement but yeah kibble farms also awesome but lags the server when u get 200ish females laying eggs a day
@@Alchemyst420 I think most tribes will leave the islands caves once center drops depending on if the caves are changed up. Currently Terror birds are used pretty effectively to rocket run the pack cave
I’m trying to build in a rathole I found in a CZcams video. I’m on official Ark pvp and I can’t build in it. I could on a single player world please help
That is because ratholes are usually not intended build places they are usually places in the mesh so they are no build zones on officials. Building in certain rat holes can get you dev wiped and even banned depending on how you get in sometimes they just do an update and seal it then you are now in the mesh and can be banned.
Some unofficial servers deem certain rat holes as unfair and block them from being built in.
Sometimes there will be buildable rat holes but they are still generally not intended.

@@Kashvan20 ya sorry it isn't more helpful. Once aberration comes out cliff plats can be used to build in no buldish areas.
If your intent on a rat hole try pillars and triangle foundations sometimes they can get around it then you have a snap point.
Just be careful and watch for sings the devs may leave in your base asking you to move.
wood ladders are better, they get blown when broken into so they cannot climb to turn off and have to blow it all.
ya using wood or rope ladders can limit access but if someone is climbing your ladders while your turrets are active they will get shredded before getting very far.
If you use wood ladders they may get broken while your defenses are fine and will limit the ability to reload turrets and make repairs.
Of course this is ark so there are always ways around, such as grapples platform dinos tek suits and so on
