  • Like any job, the role of the financial risk manager has many positives and negatives, ranging from work/life balance, the work itself, stress level, compensation, and much more. In this video, I go over exactly what those are so that you can decide for yourself if this is a job you'd be interested in or would be a good fit for you.
    Let me know if you have any further questions and I will try to answer them the best I can or address them in a future video!

    Tracking and maintaining individual asset is challenging, especially when looking at the area of interest and growth in assets. But I believe that with proper training and guidance one's asset can be monitored.

      Getting a breakdown on the management of the risk involved is very important. One should be correctly informed on how to manage the risk for individual assets. This is to avoid operational inefficiency, downtime or even frustration. And most times videos does not do the job on giving enough insight.

      The fear of loss aversion puts a pause on investment for most people.

      Maximizing profit and reduces loses to it's minimum. In this case an expert practitioner should be adopted to manage the risk on your investments. You should look up Jason Herman Pierce. He is an investment advisor, risk manage and an professional trader. He manages portfolio too, including crypto portfolios. He is the right person for the job. Just look him up via Google and go through his website for more details.

    Hi mate, just came across your channel. I'm a CIMA qualified accountant and feel like I know next to nothing about financial markets or financial instruments. I would love to get some tips from you as you sound like you know what you're talking about!

      I'd say reading is the number one thing - textbooks, news articles, Investopedia, etc. I do learn a lot from my day to day work but often times I still need external sources to develop my knowledge.

    Nice Video, I would love to see a video from you with tips on how to learn about economics, finance, markets, IB and more for free. I am currently doing my A-Levels and want to get into the field; how can I prepare?

    • @aaron_yao
      @aaron_yao  Před 3 měsíci +1

      That's a good video idea! In terms of advice, I'd say just read and learn as much as you can whether it be from books, financial news, or web resources like Seeking Alpha or Investopedia.
