  • Learn to draw a VW Bus in graphite (pencil) using two-point perspective. In this art lesson, we will use a photo reference, but change the eye level to make the drawing more dynamic. Using linear perspective help to do that without loosing the accuracy of our Subject.

Hey brother.... can I ask a question.... on your reference photo, the VW logo has a dash between the V and W but when you draw it, you don't add that dash.... why is that?

The gap between the v and the w is not relevant to drawing in two-point perspective. Also, I appreciate your subscription but you are using my drawing as YOUR video title image. If you asked for permission then I missed that email. Not cool brother. Original content is hard work.

@@automobileart6031 sorry bro, but I feel it is important to share this information, is it ok if I keep the video up and I will credit you as the owner of that section of footage, in the description title.... also I have another question, when you drew the image, did you see the dash in between the V and W on the reference image, or was the VW logo without the dash? try and remember back to when you where drawing it... it's important

Adding credit would be great, thanks. And no, I don't remember thinking about the gap between the letters when making this drawing. The lines that make up the logo include implied lines (the invisible connection where we see the gap) so drawing both letters connected together guarantees that the relationship between the lines in the logo is correct. So, it's easier to draw the logo connected together. You could then erase away the gap if you chose to do so.
