2 cups coconut milk ( between 14 to 16 fluid oz)
12 tbsp sugar

Is your vitumbua pan non-stick or cast iron?
Rihana i have tried for so long to get a pan like yours with 5 modules but i do not see it on Amazon. i wonder if there is anywhere else i can get this from. i see a pan with 7 modules that makes the size very small. just wondering. your recipes are very clear. i love them.
I checked on Amazon and they have discontinued it, if I see it anywhere I for sure let you know
@@RaihanasCuisines thank you so much. for taking the time to write
I like your language. Are you from East Africa? I was lived in Tanzania.
Yes I am from East Africa
Can I make this with just one teaspoon sugar? I’m going for savory
You sure can. Pls let me know how it turns out for you
Hello Raihana
I tried making these. Turn out really good except after I turn the vitumbua while cooking the underside cooks but the color just remains white . Doesn’t really become the color of the vitumbua. I tried greasing the pan after flipping but still doesn’t become yellow or brown. What could I possibly be doing wrong. Wish I could send you a picture
Are you waiting a while so they can get the time to get brown? I am so glad that even without browning your came out very nice
Is you pan cast iron, stainless steal or coated?
Thanks nice please mandazii ricepi

Abelskivver is great. I made aapam which similar to vitumbua. It was delicious. I used idli rice, yeast, jaggery, coconut and cardamon. This is south Indian breakfast.

Hi Raihana, why doesn’t my vitumbwas cook in the middle.. I am cooking it on very low heat. Thank you for your support.
Try and increase the heat. Are you using open flame?
