To facilitate the Singaporean Presidential Election held on 1 September 2023, both public and private buses were used to transport ballot papers around the island. The majority of buses used were from SBS Transit and ComfortDelGro Bus.
After the counting of votes, ballot papers are sealed in boxes and transported to the Supreme Court vault, where they are kept for six months before being incinerated.

I knew they used a mix of both public transit buses and private charter buses for transporting the ballot boxes for this election, but I'm quite surprised to see that NUS Zhongtong electric bus being used for this purpose as well. I believe this is the first time an electric bus has been used for this purpose?
Also I reckon the people on board the buses at 1:18 are the polling officials and candidate's agents?
