ABOUT SUPERSTORE
America Ferrera and Ben Feldman star in the hilarious workplace comedy "Superstore," about a unique family of employees at a supersized megastore. "Superstore" centers around Amy (Ferrera), who recently was promoted to be the store manager and is the glue holding the place together, and Jonah (Feldman), a dreamer determined to prove work doesn't have to be boring. Their fellow associates include the sardonic Garrett (Colton Dunn), the sweet and clueless Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom), and the perpetually dismissed Sandra (Kaliko Kauahi). Also on the team are Glenn (Mark McKinney), who stepped down as manager in an attempt to have more family time, and Dina (Lauren Ash), the aggressive assistant manager who enforces Cloud 9 policy with an iron fist. Mateo (Nico Santos) was also part of the team, most recently as the self-promoted floor supervisor, until being detained due to his undocumented status.

Sister act 2 was loosely based on Mateo's life.
That's pretty impressive, considering that movie came out before he was even born. According to the wiki, Mateo was born in 1995. Sister Act 2 was released in 1993. Mateo must have gotten access to a time machine at one point in his life

They are, they just prefer to keep their relationship separate from work.
@Erin PRINTER Well honestly they've never really been a very 'affectionate' couple to begin with, but I get what you're saying. I don't know if they've necessarily lost their chemistry, or that they just haven't had as many scenes together recently. Part of it probably has to do with the fact that Amy is now the manager, so she's not really interacting with the floor workers as often.
I actually like this approach, I prefer this over made up drama like many other sitcoms do.

I’m late, But I’m not even a supporter of illegal immigrants but this was an interesting story to follow. You really never see this talked about in shows and it was really interesting to see it in a comedy.
