    so how do you go about if you want to do it the other way. Start off regular speed and ramp up a specific section in the video?

    • @therealmotormouth
      @therealmotormouth Před rokem

      I know this is late but what you do is you make a key frame where you want the speed ramp to start, then another where you want it to end. Then what you do is take the 2nd keyframe you just made where you want the speed ramp to end and move it to the left toward the first keyframe you just made for speed or to the right to slow it down. The 1st keyframe you just added where you want the speed ramp to begin won't move at all, only the 2nd.
      TL/DR
      1.) Add two keyframes (1st starting where you want speed ramp to begin, the 2nd where you want the speed ramp to end)
      2. Only move the 2nd keyframe you made toward the 1st for speed or away for slower.
      3. After that the clip will go back to normal

      same problem have you found a solution?

    • @birklstutorials4131
      @birklstutorials4131  Před 3 lety +7

      @@slayernoblesse5966 Hello boys. This might be because you have trimmed the span of your video or cut it. If you trim a video by dragging either end, the keyframe will stay in place and "disappear" if you shorten the video. The keyframe will still be there, but you won't be able to see it at first notice. I am pretty sure you have to open the time remapping effect to reveal the keyframes. Here you will see that the keyframes are outside of the duration of your clip.
      Solution: BEFORE you change the position of any time remapping keyframes in your clip, put one time remapping keyframe at the start of your clip and another one at the en. ex: 2:16 the two keyframes are at the start and end of the grey video. This is where it cuts. You make keyframes by pressing the diamond button to the very left of your time remapping effect. You can then proceed to add the two inner keyframes and then shorten the clip down to make some awesome speed ramping!
      Really hope this helped lol. i should really sleep..

    • @birklstutorials4131
      @birklstutorials4131  Před 3 lety

      Hey man. I'm sorry i didnt see your message before now. You simply drag the two outer keyframes of the speedram outwards - away - from the clip (to make it slower, extend time) and drag the two inner keyframes towards each other - making the footage between those keyframes faster. This will look different in the speed graph editor, but you can apply the same principles as i teach in the video :)

      FaKerror I am not sure why the key frames would not appear at the bottom of the clip in the timeline. After loading a new clip in a new file, it worked. However, it never worked on the original clip in question. I’m thinking maybe the clip was too long and the ends were just not visible but I was able to figure it out on others.

    Hey bro. So I basically recorded a video with Google Earth Studio swell. I thought saving in 60 FPS is better for Slowmo. After applying Warptime to whole clip it looks choppy. If I try to do change the composition settings to 24 it doesn't slow down. I don't know why. Do you have any Idea? Also can I ask at what FPS you recorded this Google Earth Studio Footage?

    • @birklstutorials4131
      @birklstutorials4131  Před 4 lety

      I am very sorry that i am responding to your comment this late. I am not sure what the cause of the problem is here. I don't know what warptime is. I am pretty sure i recorded in 120fps, but i am really not sure. It is one year since i recorded this. I don't think changing the composition settings will slow it down, but i really don't know. I can recommend watching some tutorials on the google earth recording thing.

Has to look like what i make at 4:40 ;) Hope this helped
