      Aloha Buhay Kanif & Mahalo for subscribing and sharing your dream to visit our islands. Yes, many of the hula songs are about the beautiful places to visit. Enjoy!

    Aloha, that was really nice. The only step that I really haven’t learned that well is kala kaua. I have to get a refresher on that one. your ipu heke sounds nice.

    We love this warmup for the seniors. Looking for the dance next to practice, can't seem to find it connected to the warmup.

    This video is one of my favorite ones. Can you add the name of dance step to match the dancer? It can help learners remember the name of the step.

      Appreciate the feedback- I can’t edit the video but I’ll go in and add cards to note the hula step. Mahalo for the suggestion!😊

    I have a question. When you do the Kaholo, do your hips sway after you step or do the hips lead and then you take a step? I hop this makes sense! Thank you for your educational videos as always!

    • @iHulaHawaii
      @iHulaHawaii  Před 2 lety +1

      Great question! Your hip "weight" starts on the left as you kāholo right, and vice versa. You donʻt lead with the hip. I hope this helps!

    That's not as easy as it looks! I got tired about halfway through. Of course I'm totally out of shape and a senior citizen but I think it would be worth doing often..
