Another great video...I always look forward to your post. My 10U has swung the Prism and its not bad and it is durable. Her 2 hardest hits ever, a Prism & Ghost. I also bought the Marruci Echo Connect after watching, went out the first tourney and batted .875 on the day only getting out when she hit out switch hitting. She's more of a contact hitter so no shots yet, but it's hot as well just like your vids say and several girls swing her Marucci now...Lol...Keep up the good work and thanks.

Last year I purchased the Marucci Echo Diamond. This year I picked up the Prisim. She has the Ghost as well 🤣
it definitely is a cooler looking bat thats for sure. We have the prism plus but havent had much time to use it yet. im still gonna get a monsta hype too tho. We also just sold our lxt. We still have the cf( does blast the ball pretty good too ) and the ghost as well. But i tried a cheaper bat too its the easton fire fly u may wanna get that one just to see if easton $199 bat is just as good as their $450 bat i have a feeling it is cus we have it and the ball jumps off it. you should try cus you have the pocket radar. Cool video man i was watching ur war machine video and your sxs video too. keep it up.But yea if you can get ahold of a xeno thag would be interesting to see against the ghost as well.

I've been searching for a review of the rawlings Quattros, I've heard the matra is supposed to take the place of the quatro but can't find anything like this except for baseball bats
I probably won't do the Quattro. Its old enough that even if you find one odds are good that it won't pass compression test.
My girls swing a custom Prism+ and they absolutely love it. So much that 3 more Prism+‘s joined the team, lol. These are 8u girls
When my daughter played 8u-10u. Until the white Ghost came along, everybody swung Demarini. They had the fastpitch market cornered. They still make a great product.
Girls just love the sound of the Ghosts. I will never waste money on one, not unless they give a better warranty. Just not worth it.
True, and I agree. However, I think the tide is turning a lil bit. There are some really good, even better, bats than the Ghost out there. Some open minded folks are really starting to see that.
I'd really like to see how the LS LXT compares to Meta and Ghost. My daughter swings an LXT now and trying to decide on her next bat since she growing out of it.

I'm helping do the R&D on the Torch, the bat that will replace the Hype, and I can't honestly say that the current fields are not bid enough for girls to use this bat. It's unbelievable how hot this thing is.
we hadthe lxt 2019 version and i can truly say the sound sucks, and the sweet spot is samller than any bat ive ever seen swung. We did not care for the lxt one bit. Id say try the xeno b4 anything else from louisville.

Great Review……as a high school coach where we use bats day in and day out Demarini’s are the best value. They perform and they last. I really don’t understand the Ghost hype. The best team on the planet (OU) swings Mantra’s. We have one and it’s the favorite. Keep up the great work!

No, now Rawlings owns Easton. So, I guess technically Rawlings makes Easton. I would imagine the manufacturing process hasn't changed. Just the rich folks getting richer.

Just an FYI...your first hitter had a few hits that didn't go center in the net, so the radar will automatically read those hits as lower speeds. Watch the video again and you'll notice the "fastest" recorded hits are balls hit straight into the net at the gun. Balls that run at an angle read slower than balls that travel straight at the gun, so hitting "up" into the net may very well be a big hit/fast speed, but the radar will register a lower speed. Will help your hitters for future video data.
Hmm I haven't noticed that. Definitely worth looking into. I'm really only looking for solid contact. Most hitters don't drive the ball straight into the center of the net, so I'm mainly watching for good solid contact. The radar that I use uses sound as it's metric for measurement, so angle really shouldn't matter. I've had good readings from multiple locations.
@@fabjunkie4229 regardless of the gun, it's the science. Your gun is tracking the waves. If the ball goes straight at the gun, it will register a high exit velocity. If the ball is moving at an angle to your gun, it will register a slower speed. To magnify the effect visually, imagine a sound wave bouncing off a train coming straight at you versus a train traveling at an angle to you. The waves bounce back differently and register a lower speed. It's why highway patrol try to use radar head on or from directly behind a driver.
It can get thrown out in court if they try at an angle that can give false readings.

No, I haven't gotten my hands on one of those yet.
My daughter was swinging a 31” -11 prism hitting bombs and switched to a 32” -10 ghost advanced now her hitting has decreased. Do you think a 32” -11 would be a better fit ? she’s turning 12 and the chart said a 32” -10 but I feel like she’s not hitting as good with it.
I've never been one to agree with any chart or graph as far as bat size goes. I tend to lean more towards going up late rather than early.
All her coaches keep saying if she can swing it let use it. I just think the bats a little too much since her hitting distance has decreased.
I think that's a decision you and her will have to make. Ultimately yall are the ones who have to accept the results, good or bad, with the decision.

Yessir, the power carbon is on my list. I think that's thier newest bat. I could be wrong though.

I was surprised by the performance of the Prism. I think its a good bat. Especially since you can find them used all over Facebook for 1-150 bux

Without having more time to see how the Hype holds up I couldn't honestly say. I can definetly say that, due to durability, I don't even consider the Ghost. I'm going to due a video of this bat against the Hype in the next few weeks.

The Ghost is just so good. I wish there was a bat that could hang with it because everyone knows the Ghost is garbage in terms of durability. Might go with the prism this next season Anyways and sacrifice a bit of heat.
The Ghost actually is NOT that much hotter than everything else. Now yes, it is that much hotter than some, but I there are a few that have matched or bested the Ghost exit velocity and have proven to be more durable. Most people just don't want to see it.

Will say after having the original prism the prism plus is trash. Ultra durable but very little pop.
I can only speak for the one I have, and it's fire. Every girl is different, and swings different, therefore some bats work better for some than others.
I thought the same thing hopefully I’m wrong. My daughter has at least 1000 hits off of hers and it’s just now starting to get hot.
We got this bat brand new and has probably 5000+ swings and it's super durable, just not hot.
Glad to here that it's that durable. All I can speak for is the one I tested/reviewed, and it was definetly hot. Like I said to the other guy, maybe it's just a situation of certain bats working better for certain people.
Hopefully that bad boy will open up from yall and be a great bat for her.

@@chain2822 it does have a warranty! Its lifetime if your daughter out grows her bat and it meets compression you can upgrade also !
