These cars are efficient. Belts are smooth with less drag. That shaft drive shit is for beginners!!!!

I love belts too but they have more rolling resistance (friction/drag.) The advantages of belt drive are less mass, no torque twist and nicer sound. No need to lie.

Why so many belts. Why not proper diffs, carbon shafts and gears.
This looks like a lot can go wrong.
I had belts on cars 20 years ago, it was always a pain in the ass.
