Honestly Charlie and this guy were able to create more hype for Halo in a couple months than 343 did in 10 years. Respect!
Not defending 343 here but the community will always create more hype than devs or companies ever could, at least imo. Just goes to show how dedicated and loving this fanbase is to this series.
The Halo fanbase loves to hate 343, lash out at any positivity towards them, then blame 343 for no one being positive any more. Halo is cursed with a genuinely saddening community to the point I've seen several people claim CE has more content than Infinite out of sheer inability to play fair.

It's not the fan base fault that 343 had to delay their magnum opus an entire year, and still released it entirely unfinished. They were getting ready to sell you for $70 something even less completed, and would've done so if it wasn't for that fan base you're crying about standing up and saying something about it.

@@wispstudios2157 I'm a longtime CS player, if Valve said to us that they hired people who hate CS to work on CS, I'd fucking boycott them too right from the get-go if stuff goes to shit. You just don't fuck around with IPs like that, if you also can't handle the pressure then step down from management and have some people lead who know about what Halo players love instead. If you're stepping into Bungie's shoes, then I want to hear more feedback on negatives rather than positives.
343 sucks so much dick, it makes me happy that I don't actively play newer Halo titles on multiplayer but rather play CS2 and even that game has its problems. At least it's being saved by third-party services with better AC. But these guys are clowns. And I mean the people in charge, I don't care what the programmer does because he obviously just does what he's told. It's the big guys at the top being absolute cunts.

His wife celebrating with him at the end was the ultimate payoff. All the time spent was so worth it for one of the most incredible achievements in the history of gaming.

The achievement name should be “I am Jervalin. I am legend.” Unlocked for beating every halo campaign on legendary in one play-through.
The real achievement would be someone beating halo 2 laso without glitching or map skips.

As someone who recently returned to the Halo franchise and ran an all-legendary campaign marathon after 12 years gone - the precision, skill, and discipline on display is nothing short of superhuman. For a brick, you flew pretty good.

Honestly man, what a journey it was watching complete this challenge. It stood the test of time for 18 long years, but if anyone was going to be able to beat it, it was going to be you.
As soon as we watched you beat Gravemind, I knew you had the rest of the run in the bag. Seriously this challenge brought the Halo community back together and I'm glad Critikal made it happen. Long live Halo!

He spent the first 30 mins doing nothing but essentially talking down on others who didnt think the HC skip was that big of a deal and bigging up his own achievements, along with the mention of him being a small streamer - which was a humble brag by the way. During that time he also didn't even give the guy who found the prison skip glitch (which is the only reason this run was possible) and emphasised the fact that 'we' found one. Guy sounds like a complete jackass

Recently played Halo 2 frist time on heroic on PC. What a game!
18 minutes in and I’m astounded he pulled this off. I think I get the gravity of the challenge now. potential instant death around every corner, you can play it perfect and RNG will still get you. Has to be the combination of a perfect run and favorable RNG for 6.5 hrs straight. This really is unbelievable. thankful to penguinz0 for bringing this incredible challenge to the spotlight, and congratulations Jervalin, what an accomplishment!
