Record labels are just glorified banks now adays. Just bootstrap your own band if you actually want to do something with it.

Makes organizing tours and shows way more difficult. Also more difficult to get into festivals if you ever even get that far.

Demos usually include compilation of songs or eps (like 2-5 songs but i think 3-4 is best)
