- It may be sunny in Tucson, Arizona, but there's stormy weather at the Goldberg house. Parents Adam and Shelby have their hands full with their three young children. Although the kids act tough, in other ways they refuse to grow up. Jacob, six, still sucks his thumb and will not let go of his `blankie', while little sister Jayden, three, clings to her dummy and throws temper tantrums at the suggestion that she gives it up.

It’s very dangerous to teach young kids to be afraid of calling 911. If heaven forbid something happened and the parent was incapacitated they need to be willing and able to call for help. If you tell them stuff like “the police will take you away” all the time they’ll be too afraid to call.
Beyond that what happens when they're old enough to know better? The only thing keeping them in line is going to evaporate eventually and you'll have nothing at all to handle older kids and teenagers who have arguably way worse issues to deal with.
Agreed.
Exactly
that is very true
Where's the lie though 🤔
After my separation, my ex would call the real police to " report" our 15 yo son's resistant behaviour. To the point that the police told him to start parenting his kids himself. My son is now 26 and super anxious of anything in uniform, be it police or security. I only learned about his strategy years later.

imagine if there were tuscon cops actually called smith and jones; and they're sitting watching this episode.
And their just sitting there laughing their butts off in the police station surrounded by other cops 😂
Lol
I swear the whole police force would be laughing so hard at them and smith and Jones would be laughing bc it's funny

It's kind of discouraging to hear all the mean comments about "my kids would never do that". Great. That doesn't address this problem. I'm proud of this parents for reaching out for help, and being vulnerable enough to be on TV with these problems. They seem like good people, who love their children, and just needed to be taught how to be better at it. Asking for help is incredibly hard, and they did just that.
I feel so bad for the dad. he has to discipline his kids but gets frustrated and then takes his anger out on them. he then feels sorry and starts to cry! it really is hard to raise and parent young children.

This poor family! So glad that Jo is here to help them.
I so enjoy watching your videos. What strikes me and makes me really appreciate what you do for families, is not only do the whole family show you love when you leave them, but both the parents and children recognise how much better their family is.
My mom's name is Shelby and the only one she EVER called when i was in trouble was ME.
*AND MY MIDDLE NAME!* 😂
Lord that feeling when they do the first and middle is horrible.
The children in these programs all act out the same behavior, it's the parents that act differently? What is the truth? 🤤🦖 How many go back to their bad behavior? How many children😢 survive?
When it was your full name you knew you were in BIG trouble 😂
Oh Lord as soon as I hear my name being called followed by my middle name I knew I was in big trouble
My daughter would get called by all her names when she was in trouble 🤣. the second I begin her second name she goes to her room out of the way. Luckily she is 17 now and I don't have to do it. But her boyfriends baby brother three names her when he is mucking around and she says she still feels like she's done something wrong when she hasn't
One of my favorite techniques raising my 4 was to catch them doing something right and rewarding all of us w an ice cream outing immediately! They are now such great adults. This parenting wasn’t modeled for me by my own parents. So I chose to be different. I feel for these parents. Thankful for Jo!
You sound lovely. Praise works so much better than shame i remember just wanting to please my mum; just didnt know how. Doing things right was met with no attention; doing things wrong was met with hadsh corporal punishment. I ended up frozen not really knowing what to do and still struggle with that now. Scared to succeed just incase i fail instead and get crumpled by someone bigger lol. Dropped out of university; just hope someone reads this and chooses praise instead of shame too

I was trying not to laugh when that woman talked about calling the pretend police. It's ridiculous!
That’s so funny! I used to call my sister and she would pretend she was Super Nanny and they believed it too.
I feel sorry for the dad
Crying dad = painful
@2:49 "Feeding time at the zoo" 🤣😭💀
20:13 Jo literally BOOSTED her as she came down the stairs
The parents should not be pretending to be the cops and making the kids scared to actually call the real 911 (cops) in the future
I need Jo to do all episodes wearing sunglasses
Those are not sunglasses.
@@danielledewitt1 true theyre normal glasses
I ❤️ Jo Frost. Used the techniques with my kids 20 years ago. Success! be consistent!
as i watch JoJo....i realize that she is teaching the parent....first...and not the children....
the end game...is that the children knew how to behave....but the parents didn t know...
Everytime.
Yes, that's the entire premise of the show. They've never tried to disguise it as anything else.
😮
I cannot believe that child hit his mom! I would've been so scared to even _think_ about doing that.
Right, I'm 59, and never ever had the thought of hitting my parents. 😢
even just the thought of doing it makes me feel ashamed, idk how someone could actually do it
Dad needs therapy.
Are you American. NO HE DOESNT.🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
@@traceyraybould7148 what does being American have to do with this? I feel he needs therapy. You obviously don't.
Ok.
Enjoy your nationality?!
My mom and dad would call the policeman that lived at the end of the street when I was late home and it was dark out. He would drive his police car behind me all the way home. Even when my husband was abusing me, I wouldn't call the police. I was too embarassed and it brought back too many bad memories to try to do that.
That is why kids grow up and do things they do
Just watching these children made my head ache. I couldn't be around them for one minute.
Not all kids r like this its seriously an act
@@kristyhawesKeep that to yourself it’s your beliefs
The weird looks on their faces, did it for me.
I raised two boys close in age and although they had their moments, I never came across such bad behaviour as this family; no way would they have ever hit me or their father.
These kids are to old to be so out of control. Dad has anger issues.
The problem I see here like I do on many of these episodes are parents seeming unsure. You don't have to be forceful to discipline. You just need to talk to and make sure your child understands expectations without you getting angry and losing control. We are their first teachers and need to try to stay calm. They aren't born knowing what to do and how to act. Treat everyone with love, respect, boundaries and fairness and it'll be loads easier.
the kids are giving.. mental😭
Glad she told her to stop the crying and feeling sry for themselves.
5:22 Jo's face!😂
Bro if my dad threatened to call the cops i would straighten tf out😂
I wish my parents knew this 42 years ago, esp my dad
❤
Kids that have no discipline.
I love jo techniques about time out and helping kids
Me too. I wish I could find my Supernanny book. I really enjoyed reading her techniques.
Mom is ridiculous call the paraten police on her kids crazy
Yeah, this is unacceptable. She has to deal with this not the cops like threat for the kids. That’s scary.
Spineless is what I call it
Why would these parents call the POLICE!?😮
They don’t! It’s a scare tactic to get their kids to behave.
Its the imaginary police created by two adult parents who have raised three spoiled undisciplined brats. I pity the poor other diners who had to dine with such ill mannered children. Others dine out to relax but they cannot when other diners impose their children upon the other diners.
Gentle parenting is really working for them 3:00
That's so Evil amd if the mother phoned the real police she would get in trouble for wasting police time and imagine the phone bill she wasted money so stupidly
@@bethroney2869 Yeah but who did she call? Did she just dial random numbers or is she calling her voicemail or something?
No wonder the kid is aggressive the dads is abusive towards him
That's aggressive?
21:44 Actually The Anechoic Chameber is the quietest place on earth 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You’ll hear your heartbeat and you become the noise.
Bad kids who's disobey the parents on purposes.
Happy almost Christmas Supernanny USA on your CZcams channel.🎄🇬🇧👫💳💻
This is just sad 😢😭
The dad seems so nice and I feel bad for him because he means well but he just takes his anger out and gets frustrated easily.
i feel bad for the dad he clearly cares so much and is having trouble controlling his emotions. the field he works in is no doubt incredibly stressful and traumatic, i hope he gets therapy :(
5:17 and 5:33 Jayden looks like she is drifting off to sleep while cuddling her mom
Merry Christmas 🌲🎄🎅🤶⛄🛷☃️🎁 Jo
the most concerning thing about these kids is that they have parents who buy 3 of the same toy
seriously who needs 3 thomas' when 1 is enough to fill you heart
I think Jo should check on the girls from the Chapman family, from last year. I hope those girls are doing okay ❤️
These are just reruns for the early 2010’s those girls if they are the ones I think you are talking about are adults now.
Super nanny ended mid to late 2010’s
@@The_Crows_Everywherenot all of them are from 10years plus ago
@@WickedlyMe328yes they are she stopped filming in 2013 so yea they are all over 10 years old
I relate to this dad so much.
It is like teaching animals not to do this and that
25:08 Jayden grace… bro pulled out the middle name on his 3 year old.
Huge, beautiful, expensively decorated house and they can’t figure out how to deal with two bratty rambunctious kids? ffs
That’s why the show exists…
Dad said I am had it😂❤
Nowadays I have noticed that young parents are scared of discipling their children!!
I just don't get it. 1) My kids NEVER acted like this.
2) Their kids don't act like this.
3) I never acted like this when I was growing up.
Something is terribly wrong here. 😕
If you put Sandra Bullock and Lena Dunham together you would have the mom.
Adam and Shelby are going to use the Time out method and other discipline tools!
The father doesn't seem to be angry, rather defeated and ready to learn.
I don’t know everything but process of elimination 😂😂 I won’t make empty threats, I won’t use the middle name like it’s a bad thing (I’m gonna say their full name when I’m am really impressed), and I will not repeat myself if they heard me.
Secret agent Jo in the sunglasses! Priceless!
They know the police can take them away. Put them in jail.
CONGRATS!!!
Now that’s a punishment
I’m impressed
I miss this show and jojo
Can somebody please put Supernanny season 8 episodes up?
Bad parenting if u ask me
No one asked
Yes
That sounds wrong
What sounds wrong?
@@meme.travelerr you really don’t know
My question is, when do you call it quits when the child persists to the point of lack of sleep or missed meal times? Do we stop this time out to feed and provide comfort for sleep? I had children like that.
Very nice couple. I really felt for them. ❤
Jo said ! Crazy
the father first scolds them then sees that it doesn't work and cries??? that is, he seems to be the child and they are the adults. I don't tolerate rudeness in public
Mosala mosal mosala runinthe win 9:55
The pretend police? That,s insane!!!
The moment she asked the parents if they would dress up had me 😂😂😂
Don't you talk to me like this
Tucson Arizona
The more I watch these the more I don't want kids... but Jo is teaching me (and everyone who's watching this) HOW to discipline your kids the RIGHT way. I'm just scared that they will throw tantrums and hit me/other people lol. (and scream of course) I know that I can discipline children but I'm just scared that as they grow older it will get harder.
Supa Nanny to the rescue!
Do y’all’s mom spank you if you don’t behave 😂😂😂 LIKE IF THEY DO 😂😂😂😂
"Thank You"
33:12
21:40 quiet place on earth
My mom does this to my little sister who's only 6...
😢nooooooooooooo stop dad
Adam Looks Like Sal Vulcano or Al Michaels
Mom Looks Like Sandra Bullock
My grandma did that once and i believed it for years
How many times does Adam. Has to arrays his voice at Jacob and Joshua like seriously
11:55 voice break
Madhouse. Unbelievable.
Parents usually grab the kids and put them where they should be
So, the mother would rather have the police be the bad guys instead of herself! Keeps her on the good side of her kids, with no responsibility..sweet. Good grief!😂
I wonder if Jacob is the older twin, or if that's Joshua.
Is not good thinking call police . Mom said go to the bedroom or call police.
I guess she's desperate
Lazy parenting and Shelly thinks it’s funny, I’m glad that these parents are seeing this from laziness
When I was living with my dads oldest sister she over beared me and more
super nanny's dogs are crazy
Common sense just isn't common anymore.😮yep...
When the kids are grown up.
Mom and dad - why don’t the kids visit us anymore?
those behaviors are SiSSy StUFf 💅💅💅
Maybe mom is seeing Joe behind dad’s back!
yo I Iive in Tucson 0:50
Adam looks so Embarrassed in the restaurant.
These are now the adults that think the state should be over peoples kids instead of parents.
