I’m in the process of a narcolepsy with cataplexy diagnosis and I have ADHD, so I take stimulant medications like Adderall. One thing I’ve noticed is that when I’m not on it, I nap 2-7 times in a day and sometimes I realize it, sometimes I don’t. I can nap standing, walking, sitting, in public or laying down in my bed. Sometimes in the middle of doing things. I get vivid dreams, so vivid I feel things like fur or being shot. And I see vivid things. I can get sleep paralysis and I hallucinate before falling asleep or waking up. And sometimes I do things that are repetitive that I don’t really remember that much till a while later. When I have strong emotions my hands go weak and I can’t move them. Or my legs give in and I fall. But when I’m on an adhd medication Im very very tired but it’s a lot harder to fall asleep in the day, and I only nap once. It helps me stay awake in the day but I’m still very exhausted and suffer a lot because of how tired I am. I close my eyes but I can’t sleep and it feels like torture but I’m just glad I’m not napping as much as when I’m not medicated.

Those probably aren't naps. Those are called sleep attacks and you have no control over when they happen and you can't stop them.
Thank you for sharing your experience
Not all noradrenaline comes in synaptic cleft some of them metabolised by Mao A. Overall increase in noradrenaline

Pointless video if there is no mention of Amphetamine's interaction at trace amine-associated receptor 1.
