Hi Pranav!!! Thanks for tuning in and tysm for the support!!!! Well even I was worried before getting the Remap done and spoke to Sajjan in regards to the same. He advised that it wouldn't be an issue as he personally checked the DPF and stated that Ford has used a very good quality one and even its large enough to store those gases for quite a bit and true to that I haven't faced any issue of that sort post the Remap.
Speaking of the Power figures the stock gets 99Bhp and 215Nm Torque and post the Remap you would be getting 126Ps and 270Nm Torque. Trust me this was the best thing I ever did to my car and have such a broad smile every single time I drive it. I hope this could bring some help to you.

I have 2010 figo tdci. After injectors servicing, egr cleaning, MAF sensor cleaning & a remap done the car is a bomb now. The pick up is almost at par with a BMW 530d✌✌

Firstly, whats the number of kms you've clocked on your odometer basis which I can have a fair understanding on the Ritz.
Speaking of the vehicles you've shortlisted, I would highly recommend the EcoSport as you are already using a hatchback. Buying the EcoSport will be a worthy upgrade as you would be getting yourself a compact Suv.
At times we buy a vehicle not considering many factors but then once we buy it we start regretting for not making those right choices. Reason why I say this is because you just mentioned urban usage in city traffic but you never know if in future you would use it for both City and Highway purpose.
Keeping all these factors in mind I strongly suggest you get the EcoSport!!!! Hope this helps!!!

I have Aspire TDCI BS-IV Titanium+ Mar 2020 purchase. If you pls reply to following queries - 1) Engine cooling system is designed for 99PS power. With extra power there will be more heat produced. Will the existing system take care. 2) Entire drive line is tuned for 215nm torque. Clutch, GB, diffential, axle shafts, wheel hub & finally wheel bolts. Weakest link seems clutch, but something can fail.
Hey!!! The car manufacturers don’t design various parts/differential’s or cooling system basis what is shown on paper!!! It is designed to handle much more than what’s showed that why a Tuned car will not blow up any of these depending on the software and hardware upgrades needed basis the tune!!!! In simple terms the car potential is only used 40 to 50% by manufacturer’s and that’s why people get mods done knowing the car can take much more beating!!! Hope this helps

Hello. Firstly Congratulations on your Purchase. Well, Engine Remap is totally personal preference and I strongly recommend it for anyone who is an enthusiast and wants to extract the maximum from their machine.
Incase your planning to get the Remap done, I highly recommend that you drive the car for atleast 6 to 7k kms and then get it done, reason being you will understand the actual difference from the stock and get to know the flaws as well.
The reason its increasing is because when your running a stock Map you have to constantly keep downshifting which means more acceleration to get the vehicle moving faster Which results in more Fuel consumption, however once the Remap is done all the Power and Torque is available as low as 800 to 1k Rpm and you needn't downshift as well. You can drive in 3rd gear as low as 35 to 40kmph resulting in extremely good fuel efficiency and very less starin on the Engine.

Hello!!! Your most welcome!!! EcoSport anyday is a great choice. However, since you have spoken in regards with driving in the city as well, you can also have a look at an automatic transmission. Sadly the EcoSport Diesel does not have it but you can always go in for an Xuv300 Diesel Amt another brilliant Compact SUV. Hope this helps!!!
Hi bro! Is your Freestyle able to pass pollution test and what's the top speed are you able to achieve now? It is electronically limited at 170-175kmph from ECU in stock condition I believe. Did you get the top speed limiter disabled as well?

Yes bro I got it done after the Remap and no issues at all!!!! In most cases, yes it may result to a complete reset done which means you can go back to the Stock Map!!!

@@manualshift317 Wolf is also very good!!! If your looking for something more drive-able and little linear then get the Wolf Map but if your looking for nothing but brutal power and acceleration and so on and so forth get the Code6 Map

Whether dpf is deleted in remap or it remains the same and cloggs frequently...
If it’s a Stage1+ its not removed!!! It only gets removed on a Stage2 Remap

I need your suggestions, i own 2017 Ford Figo TDCi sports variant. Currently clocked at 53 k and i am getting milage 22 kmpl mix of highway and City drive.
On Highway i usually drive around 80-90 kmph and i care about mileage and keep track using trip meter reset after filling the full tank.
Can you suggest to me whether I should go for remap stage 1 or just use it under stock condition.
If i need to remap then please share the details where it will be done in Bengaluru and how much it costs?

Hey there are many reasons people get a Remap done. Performance and mileage is definitely one of the reasons for it. Now many dont understand that the mileage increase by great numbers due to engine breathing easily because of the low end Torque and requires minimal inputs to get u moving to a certain speed.
I strongly recommend a Remap if you are looking for Beast of a Performance with great mileage and amazing drive ability.
Yes your mileage will definitely drop by numbers if your always putting the car to it’s max limits even on a stock car.
If your still interested, you can get ur vehicle remapped at Code6 and you can speak to the owner Sajjan for more clarity.

Hey bro yes you can get it done and expect mind blowing Power and Torque figures. So your stock Map will be saved with Code6 and you can get back to it at anytime. The Power and Torque figures are way within the limit of your car and definitely can handle all those Demons inside😈!!! Happy Motoring

I'm from Kerala, BTW and lives in Mumbai now. And in mumbai traffic, I'm getting only 14-15kms/litre. So if I get this done, will it decrease even bellow?
And there is turbo lag, which is clearly noticeable. Have to shift from 3rd to 2nd to get that rocket push. Actually I'm happy with the stock but same like u, still craving for more😉😄 I even clocked 175km on Belgaum highway once with the stock setting.

Hey Regen is a automated process and it happens by itself as you may know!!! In regards to the Regeneration the Remap will not affect its working!!!

Ty it does not harm any component of the Car. Because the power given to the vehicle on a Stage1+ is way within the limits of the car.
However, if you keep dumping the clutch and do wheel spins very very often then yes the life span of the clutch would reduce irrespective if you do the same on a Stock or a Remapped Car. Hope this helps!!!

Currently I'm using a tuning box from DiselTronics. Performance is ok but no where to your level. Does Code6 give any tuning box or do the mapping in ECU. ?

@@pranabeshmohanty9288 Honestly the Tuning Box is just a gimmick!!!! There's a worlds difference when tuning the Ecu directly than just plugging a Tuning Box.
Code6 only does Ecu Remaps and do not deal or do any Tuning boxes. Infact I must say you will be blown and I mean literally blown and thorwn back in your seat everytime that Turbo kicks in leaving you always with a veryyyy big smile!!!!

Hey yes you certainly can but power and torque figures wont be exciting and make much of a difference!!! Usually Remaps are best for Diesels or Turbo charged petrols but then you can also do it for a NA Petrol Engine for better acceleration and pickup!!!! Hope this helps!!!

Well looking at your requirements and keeping in mind that this is going to be your first car, Im sure the car you purchase will always be the best memory. Also, im assuming your looking for a manual transmission and suggesting on the same basis.
The cars you have chose are no doubt very good including the Ford Aspire Petrol. But according to me you should close your eyes and go in for the Skoda Rapid Rider Edition Tsi which is the base variant and falls perfectly in your budget.
Reason why im suggesting this German beauty is because of its Petrol Engine. Its way difficult to beat the Tsi Engines of the Vw group. They are simply the best and absolutely reliable and very powerful too.
Skoda is also offering a 4 year's maintenance package as well which is wayyyy too hard to ignore and last but not the least German vehicle's are built to last and are built like Tanks.

Hi sir we gave a thought on your suggestion . But we are from semi urban area and roads in our area are ok enough . Skoda riders 116mm ground clearance will not be good enough for our village roads . I want to ask whether aspires 174 mm ground clearance will be enough...because we didnt like freestyle ( 190 mm GC) that much specially due to less boot space ...should we change our choice n liking for want of more ground clearance... @@prashantchaudhar1492 In that case sir, No Sedan will be good for those type of roads. Freestyle is brilliant with a high ground clearance and very budgeted also, however boot space is a little less.
In that case you must only look for a Compact SUV. If 9.5 Lakhs is your maximum budget then, you can check for Nexon, Xuv300 which will be the base model but doesn't matter.

Hello sir, to get to know your mileage please reset the meter by long pressing on the right side of the indicator handle!!!! When you toggle through the information on the console long press the switch when you reach the mileage display till it says reset!!!! For the engine performance ensure to keep your car on idle for atleast 5 minutes for the first start in the day and then drive!!!! Do push your car till around 4k rpm when your engine become warm and im sure you’ll see the difference.
Also, please ensure to fill Diesel at a good Bunk!!! I prefer HP or Shell. Sometimes even if the grade of fuel is not good you wouldn’t get good mileage and good power!!! Hope this helps!!!
Sir i always do the mileage reset...after that only I got 13-14 in city & 15-16 on highway, also I have checked the mileage by full tank method. It's the same. My driving is decent, rpm doesn't go over 2.. discussed this issue many times with dealer, he says there isn't any issues... So I have came to conclusion of remapping engine. Please tell which remap is good ? Code6 isn't near to me ... I have a Quantum tuning dealer neat to me... How is it? Please suggest.

Absolutely I was shocked myself but somewhere I knew this can even go more beacuse even Gagan Chaudhary tested the Freestyle Tdci on the highway at speeds between 60 to 80 and I guess it returned him around 35. The Tdci's are known for their performance and Efficiency. Certainly will do a Tank method and check the Accuracy.

Yes,Ford Aspire with this same 1.5 TDCi(BS4) had recorded 42Km/L in 1000Km run with perfect Tank to Tank fill method.Video at Cardecho channel.Highway run with one people onboard avg speed of 60 i think but 42 Km/L is absolutely Wonderful.

You can do it but don’t expect anything great from it!!! Just 3 to 4% difference

1. In first and second gear, especially in city, you will fell the engine braking, which is annoying. Will map help to eliminate that?

Hey buddy thanks for tuning and glad you liked the video!!! Basically, the Map is just not for a mad Torque rush or that extra oomph factor. It’s majorly for that low end Torque and drive ability that helps in eliminating that annoying lag.
So answering your question, Yes you definitely need the Map and you will notice how beautifully your would perform even in the highest gear ratio at lowest speeds and you’ll find your car leaping forward because of that Torque which will kick in as low as 800 to 1k Rpm!!! Hope this helps!!!

Hey bro!!! Thanks for tuning in!!! Yes you can go for Dieseltronic as it is a plug and play system and you can switch to any mode with a remote!!! But I feel its too expensive for a piggy back ECU. Also, you don’t get that brutal power and Torque with it!!! However remapping your ECU will make a car a Monster!!! Hope this helps

Hello. I guess you did not reset the Fuel/ Mileage meter. Do one thing, reset that to 0 and then drive constantly you will surely see a change as you mentioned no hard accelerations. Idealt for those speeds you can easily achieve 21 to 22

Hey guys!!! Thanks for tuning in. Its very simple. Consider it as this, the Engine is the Heart of the Car and the ECU is the brain of the Car.
So Remap means we go ahead and update the Brain with new technology like more speed and more torque and all of that. Once that is done the Heart listens to the Brain and performs accordingly.
