Tomlin has screwed him so badly here! At training camp last year he was the best QB BY FAR out of the 3 and everyone that was there thought he had the #1 job LOCKED UP! Mitch’s best throw of the day was his helmet! 2 weeks later mediocre Mikey named Mitch the starter! I have been taking so much shit being a Mason fan since he got here for trying to tell people that he’s a LOT better than he’s been given credit for! I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to see just what an egomaniac Tomlin is bad has been. He didn’t want to draft Mason but Rooney, Colbert and Kahn all had 1st round grades on him and even drafted his college receiver so when Ben retired he was ready to take over. Well mediocre Mikey buried Mason on the depth chart and got rid of Washington! Then his buddy the Bills coach told him what a great QB Mitch was and Tomlin felt Mitch was a “ franchise guy” so instead of even giving Mason a fair shot at a QB competition he named Bitch the starter, and figured Mason would go away! Then Kahn called Mason and brought him back which Tomlin’s response was, “ that’s fine as long as he knows he’s the #3 AND THERE WILL BE NO QB COMPETITION!” WHY? He knew the whole time Mason was better! So if anyone thinks for a second that Tomlin made the call to start Mason your delusional, it was Kahn! The front office was sick of the offense and sick of having a good record then finishing terrible! They were sick of Mitch as QB which is why they moved Mitch to #3 on the depth chart almost immediately! This FA aren’t all butterflies and rainbows between Tomlin and the front office! Why do you think Tomlin gets so huffy when the media asks him about the QB depth chart? We need to keep Mason and ditch Tomlin! Been there with you. I kept telling people the injuries to the defense is on Tomlin. The season is longer and playing defense for the amount of time there on the field is tougher on them than the offense. Tomlin wears the cross, but a true Christian coach wouldn’t have done what he did to Mason. I use to support Tomlin, but what he did to Mason is inexcusable. He put our team through hell with Mitch and KP shit. I like KP, but never thought he was going to be QB 1 out the gate. Mitch beat us every time we played him whether in Chicago or HERE. If the standard is the standard. First Tomlin needs to list Mason as number 1QB and get this man paid. If not, Then Tomlin needs to sit out and think about his future. This franchise paid and stuck with Tomlin through all kids of adversity and paid him. Yet he doesn’t do the same for Mason. Last Mason saved Tomlin this year because if Tomlin decides to go elsewhere he will get paid more because of not having a losing season and making the playoffs with QB3. Without Mason he would have had a losing season and leaving with as 7 -10 record. I believe at the end of this season 1 or 2 will not be here for next season. Who do you think will be asked to stay? Mason is not a great interviewer but he is built for the physicality of the NFL and has the right mindset to just win games. Reminds me of when Terry Bradshaw played.

If anyone remembers, AB got traded that offseason. Bell left in free agency. The o-line was older. The offense was Ben’s offense. Week 2, out with the elbow. We signed Donte Moncrief to fill the hole that AB left, but dude was a BUST. We’ve got more weapons, and Mason has had time to learn and hone his craft. When the helmet incident happened, I felt like he got blackballed… I never had any resentment or negative feelings towards Mason. Fast forward to week 18 of 2020 season against Cleveland, I thought he showed significant improvement. Even more so now. Rooting for you, Mason!!!!!
Mason. Rudolph should be given the number one spot without question. End of discussion! With Mason in the lineup, the offense actually scored points which means we could actually win games. Mason can do the job he’s got the talent. He’s got the smarts. He’s got the capability give the man a chance. Go Mason! I sure hope he comes back next year. We have our starting quarterback in Mason Rudolph. Go out and get a right tackle in the center. That’s what we need.

Yeah, Mason definitely could be a starter for us or he is the next Charlie batch like helping and coaching and talking to players and relaying messages when he’s not on the field so that would be awesome for Mason. If he could not get the starter position I think from what we all seen there’s a very good chance that he could that he could end up the starter next season and then it’s Kenny’s job to win but all his experience knowing our system I think definitely don’t let them go keep him build theO line Get a veteran as a third stringer. Get Naj and Pat Fry Muth on their fifth year, a few key defensive players and we’re in the AFC championship plan to go to the Super Bowl….
