  • I ran this saw a bit the day before this and I was running rich. I figured the air filter was getting dirty. It seems the air filter doesn't work. I will have to find a solution to this . Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy

Two things, first if I am not extremely careful when putting the top cover on my 1993 Husq 61 it is super easy to catch the split in the top and bottom half of the air filter with the dam divider in the cover separating the cylinder and the airbox causing the filter to open up at the seam. I always check with my fingertips that the filter is together before putting the cover all the way down. Also I have seen the trick on you tube where if you feel you do not have a good snap together fit on an air filter , fill in the seam with some grease to catch any debris. Hope you caught the problem early enough before any serious damage could occur , good luck.

Ya I bet it burnt a bit of wood for sure. Still has good compression and runs fine. I'll have to check it more often. Cheers.

No clue. Use or something is wrong with the filter. Saw is ok still. Cheers
