as a journalist, more often than not the zoom level I use most is 2X 2.5X maximum, in which case all perform identically and having the 2x button directly on the 15 Plus is basically my biggest reason why I went with the Plus instaed of the Max

I really like how much brighter photos made by the regural iphone 15 are. I had before iphone 14 pro and really didn't like them dark, "muddy" photos.

Like you mentioned, for regular photography, I think most would be happy with the regular IP15. I found it disappointing that the IP15 Pro had worse battery compared to the regular. That sealed the deal for me, and I got the regular one. For most of my use, battery life is more important than camera. I was not going to go for either of the IP15 Max or Pro Max models since they are too big for my taste.
isnt the 15 pro the one with slightly better battery? Specs says that, has it been proved otherwise? Battery is important for me
@@otrep Quite a few battery test videos show the IP15 to have better battery life than IP15 Pro.

@@otrep It depends on what features are important to you. The pro models have the faster USB transfer speeds, longer camera optical zooms (3x and 5x) and macro mode, slightly better images at night and slightly improved dynamic range, Apple ProRAW, Promotion 120Hz displays, and an Action button. The Pro Max is the better phone than the 15 Pro since it has the second longest battery performance out of the 15 lineup, with the 15 Max slightly ahead. If you can afford it, then go for it. I would get at least the 256 storage so that’s going to add to the price of the phone.

Exactly.. I got the pro model only because of the log profile.. I am professional photographer and videographer so I use the iPhone as my secondary camera next to my a7iii ... For weddings etc..

I bought 15 pro couples of days ago.. the image becomes dull and grainy after get captured. Then the auto processing inflict even more damage by unnecessarily booming the skin texture
My experience with 15 pro photos is they come out with natural colors, while the standard 15 exaggerates color saturation a little. It's not significant (like the aggressive saturation of S24), but it's noticeable.
If you're getting grainy photos in normal lighting conditions, that is not normal. Exchange that phone right away!

Nope, pros have bigger sensors, and telephoto, telephoto beats the shit out of the base models when it comes to portraits, base models can only do very mediocre portraits

@@luxor3663Yes very good phone but for me I would go for the 15s or wait since Apple has fully transitioned to USB C and all androids have been that for a while. Soon lightning will die out over the next few years and if you want your IPhone for years to come I would get a USB C iPhone
I've watched tons of iphone 15 reviews. No one talks about the front and back camera issues where it post processes the images into dark, blurry and grainy! (the processed image is totally different than what you see on viewfinder) I have iphone mainly for the camera and the image quality the it delivered for the price i paid is so disappointing.
Yeah its awful. Upgraded from 11Pro and miss the camera so much. I hardly take photos on the 15, especially front camera. As the processing is sooo bad.

The Problem with Iphone's bigger and better variants is the overpriced product in countries like India and Nepal (around 1900$ for the base variant IPM).....So in my opinion regular iphone is much more value for your bucks while still delivering what iphone is known for!
I feel like the dynamic range is just a tad better on 15 pro. You might get slightly more detail in high-contrast situations and highlights might be preserved better, but processing is good enough that it's really not that noticeable unless you are comparing them side by side. However, if that's something that's important to you, it might be worth the extra money.
IP 15 Pro pros:
*120Hz Display
*3x zoom
*Always on Display
*Action Button
*Only slighty better performnace
In my opinion, the 120 Hz screen is the biggest advantage of the IP 15Pro compared to the IP 15. The better 3x zoom is no advantage compared to the 5x in the Pro Max, Always on Display drains the battery and the action button is unimportant for me. But 60Hz in base IP 15 is a crime if every android has 120Hz for less than half price of IP 15. IP 15 Pro is great but not worth extra 200$ to be honest.
I despise the fact that normal iPhones have not had telephoto lenses ever since the 7 Plus.
It is NOT a "niche professional feature", and Apple knows it. Hence why normal Galaxy S phones always come with a zoom lens.

Colour difference between them two phones is definitely not the saturation ! 15 pro is darker and more contrasty , but not more saturated.
The 15 is nearly identical to my 12pro.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and I’m not going to get another pro max. I want to get the pink iPhone 15 plus and use a clear MagSafe case. I’d rather upgrade my Apple Watch 5 instead of getting the pro.
selfies arent the same, i tried out all the models of the series and it wasnt the same, with 15 were blur kinda dull with 15 pro were better, and with a bit of light they were astonishing and very detailed, to a point that i could see my skin pores

But a friend of mine who was 15 and another with the pro max has no complaints. Iphones since iphone 6 times were so much better than all androids. I prefer their pov

This review is confusing. In one breath you said there is no reason to get the pro, and then in another you ahow enormously improved low light image. This video could just have easily been titled "Get the Pro if you need low light images" 🤷♂️

Samsung is king of digital zoom. 100x on the S4 ultra vs 25x on the Pro Max, and Samsung's 100x is pretty nice thanks to its 200 mp lens.

I have used apple for most of my adult life but after using google pixel 7 pro for one year and switching back to apple , I can say the pixel camera wipes the floor with apple cams.
