    Tradet in my streetbob 107 stage 2 with Tbr 2 in 1 exhaust for a 2023 low rider s 117. Did only 4 km necause bad weather. First thing I changed was the seat. Way to soft for me. Installed a Saddlemen 2 stepup. Waiting for dry roads to give it a try. Giess I have to change the bars too. Would like 12” apes like on my streetbob. I’m 5.8, not a tall guy, have to lean over to my bar. Next year probably stage 2 for the 117.

    Man that sounds so good.
    I just recently traded in my iron 883 for a ‘21 Low Rider S and for myself, the power of the 114 is amazing in comparison. But that’s going from a 2020 iron 883 with an aftermarket stage 1 as my very first motorcycle, to a 1868cc (114) engine with all that torque! I have put a homemade external breather system on my bike (immediately) but that’s all I’ve done. I’ll just add the K&N filter element from Harley, and some pipes, probably V&H twin slash, and that’ll be it until I eventually put a cam in it. I thought a stage 3 would be the absolute ultimate for my tastes, but realistically, I’ll probably just do a stage 2 cam upgrade. I absolutely love this bike! Love this bike!!!

      Hey Robby! I was actually quite similar although I went from a 48 to my low rider s
      I’d say you are going the right way about things by taking your time and getting used to the extra torque and power alongside the bigger bike
      And when you do pursue more power a stage 2 with the right cams will deliver the same results as the likes of a screaming eagle stage 3 so if you want value for money I would definitely consider that!

    I literally just bought a 2020 Low Rider S last week (546 miles on the odometer). Being delivered this Monday. It is completly stock. Adding crash bar right away. Look forward to an exciting ownership. I currently own 3 other bikes. One of them is a 2015 Harley Super Low 1200 T that I am now selling to help pay for the Harley LRS. By the way I love the looks of the 2020/21 LRS as well as the performance. Can't stand what Harley did with the instruments on the "new" 2022. juat saying.

    Just sold mine and going with a FatBoy 2022 for the comfort. Probably gonna miss the LRS, it's a great nimble bike but I just want something more laid back.

      I think you’ll love the fatboy profile! And the ride position! It’s a great bike, hope you have many happy miles on it and don’t forget to let us know what you think of it when you get it! Safe riding 🤙

      Almost bought a Fat Boy about two years ago The prices were much lower at the time, for all Harley Bikes for that matter. Here in the USA all motorcycles (and cars new and used are going for a premium at the moment). I think itis one of the most beautiful; bikes that Harley makes. But alas, just does not have the type of handling I like. The Low rider S is more of my cup of tea. I will be back, haha

    What do you think the best stage 2 or stage 3 to go with would be? If screaming eagle isn’t the best

    I’m looking at a low rider 117 swap from 107 Street Bob. Big bump up in power

    • @THORVL1
      @THORVL1 Před 8 měsíci +1

      I had a streetbob 2019 107. Standard there will be a big difference. But the last two years I had a stage 2 installed on the streetbob. That was a beast! So, a stage 2 is worth the money. I had more power than the 114, just not as much as the 117 on my streetbob. I had the heavy breather intake, torque cam from screaming eagle and an 2 in one TBR exhaust. Very deep sound, 🔥 out of the exhaust, a beast, compared to the 107 and way cheaper than buying the lrs 117.
      Bought the low rider s 2023 117 because it’s my dreambike. Next year going for stage 2 on the low rider s too 😅

      @@THORVL1congrats, I’m getting one next year but they’re 2 grand more expensive here in Australia for the 2024 model compared to last years. Are you enjoying the bike as much as you thought you would?

    If you really want more power…..why not a sportster s? Or Pan America? Unless the looks are holding you back? They did me. I had to have a big twin cruiser. The FXLRS just thrilled me like none of the other bikes did. Plus I got great deal.

      Im not entirely sold on the revolution engine looks wise and haven’t had an opportunity to experience the performance aspect yet!
      I prefer the more traditional Harley image as well but am open minded to experiencing some of the newer style bikes

    • @robbyclark6915
      @robbyclark6915 Před 2 lety

      @@flexfreedom1969 My biggest concern is reliability. There’s no doubt the performance will be beyond the traditional air cooled bikes, but how reliable will this platform be 5-10 years down the road? It’s new ground for Harley. It’s not like they’ve been making modern bikes for 20+ years like everyone else in the industry.
