The gig tube niche is on the decline, at least according to my channel, i'm hoping for a recovery.
Let's be real. It's probably not coming back. Six years ago, it was tips and tricks, maximize your earning, etc. Now it's just people complaining about the pay and the customers. Pretty much everybody knows the general tips and tricks already, and the other stuff is mostly market dependent. I driver Uber part time, and what worked four years ago isn't that much different than what works now except airport trips aren't worth the money anymore (at least in my market).

@@seanwilliams7655 How many "tips and tricks" are there in food delivery? Pedro in particular acts like he has the low down on some type of secret formula. Everybody else looks at the miles/pay and decides if its worth it. Full stop. Pedros channel lasted as long as it did since like any other cult he likes to make simple concepts difficult and you need his "guru" insight to figure it out. Its laughable. People who can't even speak English are taking all the jobs, so how difficult can it be? @Aaron you are the ONLY gig tuber who is transparent about his CPM/RPM. Everybody else keeps it a secret. That in and of itself sets your channel apart.
Yeah because people are losing interest in watching gig related contact, and it really has to do with factors outside of your control sometimes. For example, how many people are going to be interested in Doordash content when Doordash is getting worse and worse every year you’re only gonna be as good as what you’re talking about.

@@michele6873 same here, DD really gives no training you just learn as you go if it hadn’t been for Pedro I would have had a very hard time. 3 years in I’m very discouraged at how DD adds so many new dashers can’t really make any money and it used be I’d make good money from 10:00am to 2:00pm but not now. I’ve added UE and it’s way less restrictive dash any time schedule because DD is impossible. I respect Pedro immensely!

Damn Pedro. I was out doing what I learned on your channel being an independent contractor serving my community and it all went bad. Not my fault. I was on my last pickup for Spark after a hard days work and the Walmart associate asked me to do a favor for him and drop something off for him. I thought it was personal so I said sure. I started loading my two orders in the blue baskets and another associate rolled a Walmart buggy full of high dollar merchandise out to my truck. I was told to take the items.across the street to the teller machine and drop it off to the associates friend. It looked really bad to me but I did it to get out of the situation. As soon as I could I reported the incident to Walmart Ethics because it didn’t look good to me. I was under the assumption that if I didn’t do it I would have my high tip orders canceled so the other drivers that do haul the stuff across the street will get those high tip orders. Walmart Ethics from that store is investigating the incident and has confirmed to me them rolling that buggy full of merchandise out to my vehicle. I have it all recorded on my front and rear dash cam footage. The car I took it to and the guy. The merchandise the associates loaded on my truck. I don’t know if they stole the stuff or not. I don’t know if they were doing it just to get me out of the way so their buddies could get all the high paying orders I was getting. I don’t know how far this shrinkage problem goes up the chain. I have lost my Spark income but I am not deactivated. I have just been avoiding going to Walmart. DoorDash has really came through for me keeping my income up enough to keep me afloat. Help me Obi-wan your my only hope. I am not arrested or deactivated at this time but I don’t know how long I can hold out.

A daily stream of "Whining about the unfairness of it all" videos is NOT providing sustainable value. Yeah, sure, maybe it's mildly entertaining for a week, or two, or three... but you've used up all your runway, you're passing the point where even your most loyal viewers are going to move on if you don't.
There's still opportunity in gig-app work and in making youtube content about gig-app work. There's still a decent gig-app opportunity niche right now. Becoming a TRUE self-employed independent contractor by learning how to converting customers into private clients. Making youtube content about doing that (converting private clients) is wide open.
