      Not sure what is compromised here, all Mahindra vehicles will have less boot space. But with regards to AC we need to switch the rear AC, because it has a secondary AC unit at the back side. The owner thinks that he want to get cooling without switching on the second AC, which is not possible.

    • @clarkkent4872

      Indian manufacturers are fooling indians by selling overpriced cars with cramped 2nd, 3rd row seats and boot space. Hope chinese manufacturers eat up all the market share in the future just like they did with mobile phones. Even Korean kia carnival offers plenty of space. These indian maufacturers think we will be continued to be fooled in the name of patriotism. Look what happened to Micromax, intex etc who were fooling indians with low quality products for a long time.

    23:16 Usually Spare wheel will be 1 inch low in most of the brands….if running wheel size is R18 , spare wheel would be R17…..that’s usual thing followed by all automakers…one reason is cost cutting, another reason would be people will not change the spare wheel if it is alloy and same size…then we would end up with helpless situation if you continue to use spare wheel without changing it 😊

    • @kirubakarans6300
      @kirubakarans6300 Před rokem +2

      Smaller spare tyre size is risky to drive. It should be the buyers choice and not the manufacturer choice. Buyers should demand for same size tyre. Even Govt should look into to this safety factor. We buy with the rate quoted by the Dealer, where does this cost cutting is beneficial for the buyer.

    • @praveenkumars7170
      @praveenkumars7170 Před rokem +2

      @@kirubakarans6300 I agree with risky drive, but spare wheel should be used only with recommended speed and it is for only emergency purpose. We should change back to original wheel as soon as we fixed the puncture…and cost cutting is beneficial for only automakers not for buyers….let’s consider if people buy and use the spare wheel as like original wheel, there Is possibility of delay to fix the puncture wheel. So in the interim time if another wheel is puncture what do we do….so the bottom line is People should fix and change back to original wheel as soon as possible.

      I too own an innova crysta the fuel economy of that car is just 10kmpl whereas xuv700 returns around 15kmpl in city and 17.5 kmpl in highwaysandcompared to my old innova the comfort and reliability is less and for 30lakhs innova crysta is not worthy as it doesn’t get more features like xuv700 . And in terms of power the crysta produces 165bhp whereas the xuv700 produces 185 bhp and when It comes to handling the xuv700 handles better than crysta . The last seat is not accessible by the tall passengers in both the cars . So the xuv700 is a step ahead of innova crysta.

      @@SatheeshKumar-cn2hc - hi in terms of reliability Mahindra is better than MG because MG didn't manufactured cars for the last 2 decades. Anytime they will close and go like Ford.
      And Mahindra petrol engine most powerful (2000cc with 200 bhp and 380 torque) in this price category.
      But Hector petrol automatic is 1500 cc engine ( 140 bhp and just 250 torque ) again it's CVT technology - rubber band effect wil be there.
      Mahindra petrol XUV is comes with torque converter technology, most reliable technology. You will enjoy the driving.
      Even Mahindra diesel engine itself more refined. We don't need to worry about Petrol engine.
      Only drawback in petrol XUV is they won't come with drive modes.
      Mahindra petrol is more powerful than Safari diesel.
      When compared to size , Mahindra is wider than hector and you will get a flat floor in XUV 700. So 3 adult can sit comfortably.
      Am not sure about Hector.
      Am having XUV 700 diesel automatic.

      I am not happy with the looks of current Safari (Harrier is good), we owned Safari Dicor, I have never seen any other car which has matched that look and the same red colour after that Car. We have let go off that car after 11 years of usage, decided not to go for TATA cars anymore because of the bad service from concord. It's good that TATA has changed to Lakshmi motors as their service partner in Chennai but the concord days were a nightmare. After Safari dicor, Fortuner and XUV700 were the only cars which has convinced us with its look.
