As an Argentinian, I can say Canada is world class. They played a great game, good strategy, good players with cool heads, and they made Argentina work for the win. On the other hand, Argentina missed a lot of opportunities, it wasn't Messi's night, but even so, we managed to pull a deserved win. Looking fwd to see Canada play, and cheer for them!!! Well done.

Considering his short time in charge a progression is clearly seen . Canada worked hard, we’re well organized and did have opportunities. The problem is Canada is in CONCACAF where the competition is inferior to the sides Canada has played in the last three matches. Canada will gain good experience playing in this Tournament as they have some good young players but they must learn to be clinical with the few opportunities they will get to score.

I always thought Canada would pose serious problems for Argentina with their directness and speed, and it more or less played out like that.
Canada's problem is scoring, that is nothing new. But their offside trap also needs work.

I like Messi and Argentina, fair is fair, Canada had a couple of chances also. Canada did not play defensive but offensive in first half. Argentina could not figure it out. Why the ref did not blow for a foul at thw box againsta Argentina, I don't know? Kind of fishy!! But second half Argentinia adjustes and figured it out. I don't know if the extra time they took to comeback to second half is right and helped them get coached for secomd half. All in all Canada did well, they look like a top level team. Next time they scorw the chances and pull it off.

Este tipo sabe lo que hace,el primer tiempo no es que argentina jugo mal,canada cumplio al pie de la letra lo que su entrenador les pidio,se vio un equipo compacto apurando la salia de argentina incomodandola continuamente,lo unico que no me gusto es llorar por la falta que lejos estaba de ser penal,los arbitrajes a lo largo de la historia perjudicaron y favorecieron a la argentina.....y me atrevo a decir que la mayoria de las veces siempre pitan en contra de argentina,pero cuando no pitan en contra empiezan los escandalos injustamente...ahora el segundo tiempo mostro que nuestro DT scaloni tambien es muy bueno trabajo sobre el planteo del rival y pudimos haber goleado si messi estab fino con las definiciones...pero hay que aplaudir el trabajo del DT y jugadores de canada.tambien espero que mejoren contra el rsto,porue muchas selecciones dejan todo contra argentina y despues se quedan en solo eso en dar pelea a la argentina.

Very arrogant and proud of a bad team, not because of the players but because of him. Canada did look good because their players didn't actually play that bad, though not well; because for whatever reason canada was estimated less than what it actually is; and the most important reason is tha Argentin did not play well, though better than Canada. And that wasn't due to his tactics. The players just did not play well. So it's very arrogant because he's no merit. Canada players deserve a better coach

Remember … Canada is a fairly new team … and they are competing with the World Cup champs: ( yeah they didn’t play well but they are still the world champs ) and Canada did more than what was expected ( as a new team ) and actually hold their own … I would say he knows what he’s doing and he’s doing a good job !
