I agree. These are a lovely set of preludes that deserve more recognition. Unfortunately for S. Lyapunov and many of his equally unknown contemporaries, they were too "late to the game," having composed romantic music during an age where more familiar composers, such as Scriabin, Ravel, and Debussy, were already innovating. It still does not take away from their great music.
