Pretty sure the Dark Knight himself started his vinyl journey with an AT LP60 as well.
The AT LP 60 was the table I brought when I decided to get back into vinyl, and it served me exceptionally well. I have since given it to my daughter who has developed love for vinyl. KNIGHT.
A KNIGHT in shining armor for the entry level LP enthusiast. A great little player that's easy to set up and use. My daughter is now starting to get into Vinyl and I love that we can both share in the enjoyment of discovering new music together as well as rocking out to the classics. Thanks for the awesome videos!
I was watching this review last KNIGHT and found it informative like all of your videos since you started your channel.. And on a personal note, I commend you on your compassion for your fellow man as you were helping those people in desperate need during the flood.
Man, I am so thankful for content creators like you. After some time of interest, I just started to dip my toes into analog audio, and it is such a fun hobby. Knight
I just got back into collecting vinyl and have an LP 60X I use almost every Knight. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for teaming up with Knight for this promo! Keep the great content coming!
Once again Chris A very informative video. Thanks again and have a good knight!
Great video! This was the best one I've seen all Knight.
thanks for the unboxing and teaching us how to set up, just got mine, shes amazing!!
I'm glad to hear it.
awesome review, this was another one I was looking at for my first table.
This video was quite informative for beginners. You are easy going, instructional, and approachable. Thank you and good Knight.
Oh holy KNIGHT ! THANK YOU for the review!
Knight. Knight. Knight!
There. I hope this works.
That 'table must have come ready to rock. Looking forward to a set-up video later on.
Good show Chris, thanks for being there for us!
Absolutely loving this channel! Knight want to do some more reviews, they’re fun to watch!
great video. Knight! always informative.
Great video and review as always! The KNIGHT was my high school mascot!
Didn’t realize you had a new video up when I tuned In to KNIGHT. Great job, as always.
You are the new Vinyl Knight. Keep up the great work!
They are a great entry into the vinyl world. I had one for 6 months, stepped up to a project T1. Good review!
That's a pretty good step.
A great demonstration of the turntable, I guess it's a great entry point into the Vinyl world! Cheers
Excellent and clear cut set up video. The first TT I bought was the original Audio Technica LP60. It was a surprisingly good sounding table for the money. I have since upgraded to a Project Debut Carbon Evo but I still miss the automatic return! Would make a KNIGHT gift for a friend just getting into the hobby. If you have it hooked to a vintage receiver, just switch the line in to the phono setting.
I ordered my Vinyl Attack T-shirt last week, hopefully it will be here by tomorrow knight. Thanks for the great content and giveaways 👍🤘
Chris is quickly becoming quite the 'Jedi Knight' of all things vinyl related. You do have quite a staggering list of support of the Executive Producers and Producers bringing this channel to us. Would love to hear more about their involvement on a future episode. Keep up the good work!
Those are Patrons that help support the show with a monthly pledge. They get their names in the credits as a reward. You can learn more about it at www.patreon.com/thevinylattack if you'd like.
This is a great turntable and highly recommend for anyone getting into vinyl for the first time. As you demonstrated, an easy to use table. I purchased one for my daughter 5 years ago. When I saw she was serious about vinyl I upgraded her to a Fluance RT85 w/acrylic platter.
My only criticism of the AT60 is the manual up/down can lose its finesse over time and simply drop down abruptly.
The slower you release the button the slower the tonearm lowers. 👍
@@justinmetcalfe2669 I can confirm this comment is correct.
Yep just replaced mine after 5 years also cause of the same issue.
Good turntable demonstration! So simple to use even in the dark of knight!
Knight. Great video. This is a good turntable to get my niece started into vinyl record collecting. She’s been talking about it for a little while now.
Always enjoy your videos. Hope to see more AT turntable reviews coming in such as AT-LP7. Tq
If they send one for review, I'd be happy to check it out.
Hi Chris! My nephew is starting his vinyl journey and would love this turntable! Good morning and good KNIGHT 🙏
Love your content, thanks for the channel and education....KNIGHT....hoping I get my hands on one of these
Thanks for being our online Knight in vinyl armor!
P.S: Hope your basement situation is taken care of!
oh i like you, very informational, genuine, and saved my vinyls.
This was the best way to demonstrate a good entry level way to get hifi sound out of your vinyl. KNIGHT
Extremely good review-very professional.
Going to be buying this for my dad's birthday. Thanks for the info!
Happy to help.
This is a great entry level table! Knight I believe I would gift it to my 16 year old Granddaughter, who I have hooked into vinyl records, and so far she is loving it! Gotta keep the future Bright, Knight :-)
Good luck!
Hey Chris,
I’m enjoying my new Vinyl Attack T-shirt and stickers.
Thanks for all the great videos.
Oh yeah, have a good…KNIGHT
I appreciate you supporting the channel.
Thanks! I’m just getting back into vinyl. Would love to have this table. Knight!
Fantastic video. Great channel! Knight!
Thank you kindly!
I've had this model for years. Great device. I recently switched to Audio Technica AT-LP 120 XUSB. Very good too. Greetings from Portugal.
Thanks for dropping by!
What an awesome intro player! I've really been looking into this one, so thanks for the in-depth review. Bit of my knight in shining armor, huh?
Glad I could help!
Great content, fun, and good information. Knight.
It was the knight before Chris's review and all were excited. He was going to review a turntable and give one away too. Chris I always look forward to your videos and learn so much.
I'm glad to hear that, thank you.
Another great video mate thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it.
What an incredible review, seriously considering purchasing one.
If you need an entry level table, you could do much worse.
@@thevinylattackI agree
Awesome video! KNIGHT
When I got back into vinyl several years ago, (after my basement flooded and ruined my childhood vinyl collection, I know you empathize), my wife got my an LP60. I loved it and, in fact, still use it downstairs. Good sounding and easy to set up and use. The best entry turntable on the market IMO.
I definitely feel your pain.
I love Audio Technica turntables. I have a 120 version purhcased last year and it is awesome. KNIGHT
Great video man. Knight
This is the best record player to get I have an Audio Technica LP60 that I got in the mail last year in June it's red and I ordered it from Walmart and I'm happy with it
Just got this turntable recently and hooked it up to my receiver, really enjoying it so far. Glad I knew enough to not use those all in one turntables. Got one as a gift but never used it in fear of damaging my vinyls.
Thanks for this video. Good KNIGHT
Fantastic review and this information is all new to me. Much appreciated.
KNIGHT
Glad it was helpful!
When I decided to get back to vinyl, this was my 1st turntable. Knight
Knight! I’m that creative but all in all I’ve been a big fan of your channel and keep up the great work/content!
Another informative video…I grant thee Knight of the Round Spinning Table!
Started with an at 60 and it is great still have it as a secondary player in my girlfriend's sewing room and she picked up the vinyl addiction as well. Still going strong after 5 years only replaced the stylus and a belt so far. Highly recommend for the starter with a low budget.
Glad to hear it's holding up so well.
Keep up the good work sir ! And go KNIGHT!
You are vested as the vinyl knight, The Vinyl Attack! ;)
Looking forward to listening to my music on this knight. I need that automatic function. Thanks for the video. From Moscow Mi.
Exceptional review.
Thanks.
Nice one been thinking of getting mybe this, or another from there range. Great video
Glad I could help.
This would be great to listen to all the records I picked up at a garage sale last Knight.
KNIGHT - been thinking of making this a Christmas gift to my daughter who is just starting out ..
I KNIGHT be interested in a free AT LP 60! Seriously, great review, hadn't considered this one a viable option for a second budget TT station at my office, but your review may have swayed me to put this one in the mix. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to help.
Great job, nice turntable. I would use it every knight.
Well done! Have a great Knight…
A few months ago I set up my 13 year old great-nephew with a setup (I had taken care of his sister a few years ago) that included the LP 60, a Pioneer SX 770, a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 225’s (I had just upgraded to Evo 4.2’s) a Bluetooth receiver of forgotten origin, and about 50-ish records of various genres. My niece -his mother- tells me he uses it all the time. …always happy to share my obsessions….
Great video , Thank You 🙏🏽
I'm glad you liked it.
Hello, Have been a subcriber for a while now, and am always glad when you post new vids. You have a nice way about you, and I can tell you are sincere and really love sharing the hobby with others. I bought an LP 60, but it's a model that also has a headphone jack, as I currently don't have speakers. It's right beside my bed and it quite nice. Music fills my Knights and my Days. I"ve bought some really nice reissues and a few original pressings of old favorites. I love vinyl. Keep up the good work. JK
I'm glad you're enjoying the show, it does indeed mean a lot.
Thank you, very handy.
Glad it helped.
Great start up turntable, even better with a cartridge upgrade! My dad gave me an old Bic turntable from Detroit..he told me to listen to rock n roll Loud!!!! But he then says..my little knight in armor..once a knight..always a knight..but once a night is enough!....
I would listen to records every knight if I had a turntable like this!
Good KNIGHT Irene….That video was swell!
Very important that this end of the market gets the coverage it deserves. I’m always asked what’s a good upgrade from the Crosley, and the AT as well as the similar Sony are my first sub £150 recommendation.
Too many channels focus on High end and future-Fi components, so refreshing to see this end of the market covered.
Great video. Here’s hoping many a crosley user find this video and do what’s best for them and their records and be their first stepping stone towards releasing more of their Vinyl collections potential.
On a side note… we have some new Analogue October Records T shirts and would like to send you one. Question is, what’s yours T shirt size????
I think CZcams is stripping your answers again. I had a notification you commented but it’s gone again.
Excellent review - I would be nice to have this turntable to listen to records at KNIGHT
Knight is awesome for the giveaway 🤘 giving people the chance to get into the hobby.
I was looking for something to play my dad's LP collection from the 70s. Picked up one of these and was up and running in about 10-minutes. Although the materials/build quality doesn't give me a warm/fuzzy, the AT-LP60X adequately served its purpose. There's nothing like vinyl.
It's definitely an easy table to get up and running.
Thanks for everything you do Chris! O Knight s of Ni, we have brought you your shrubbery. May we go now?
I’ve been running the older at-lp60 for over a year now and it’s been great. Far from perfect and I fully understand you can get a far better sound out of a record but for my budget it’s fantastic.
I think that's key. Everyone has a budget, so finding what works best for you is the idea.
Great video as per the norm. I was always partial to the green knight.
Knight thanks for the info
Enjoying your videos , down to earth. Looking forward to looking what Knight has to offer. Vinyl is my favorite media to listen too. Used records stores are a good place to start from scratch. Was the Columbia record club around when you were growing up? Enjoy your listening!
Columbia record club was around yes, but I never joined. I was tempted a few times but they just didn't have what I was looking for back then.
I have that at least one year. In my opinion is a great music performer for the price that ask!😍
My friend recently moved and had to let go of her turntable. I would love to be her KNIGHT in shining vinyl and gift her this turntable!
Thanks for the review of this table. Looking forward to checking out vinyl again. I wonder if there is a day and knight difference in sound quality from flac files.
Thanks.
This is a wonderful video that should encourage people to take a step up from the groove grinders. Good Knight.
Our Knight in shining armor in the overwhelming world of the vinyl LP. Personally running a Rega P2 but keeping my options open. The Regas (well maybe not all of them, some at least) don’t have a ground wire and there is noise through the speakers when touching the tone arm, etc. Thanks again
My P1 has this hum... I may move to a Technics
Add a ground. Duh. Ground it to the tonearm mounting bolt. Duh.
@@keithb6717 I didn’t know that where the ground came from, duh, thought it was from electronics duh. I’ll look into it though, thanks for making such a kind suggestion, duh
Such a simple and good turntable. KNIGHT
Great video. I'm the Knight of the Round Table
I saw the Twistin Tarantulas one Knight in Royal Oak. Nice video!
They never fail to perform. Outstanding band.
One of my favorite shows as a kid was "Knight Rider."
Hope everyone has a great knight
Knight with a K. THanks for the video!
im just chillin here watching this to knight . Groovy
I own an Audio-Technica LP60XUSB turntable since April of 2020. I liked Jonathan Knight from NKOTB.
Enjoyed your video! Knight
Excellent tutorial. I learned what passes for automatic these days. I always think of automatic as putting up to seven albums or as many 45s as could be fitted and playing the whole stack. Double albums used to come with their sides numbered so that you could stack side two above side one; flip both and play side three and side four. Nowadays, side two is on the reverse of one; side four on the reverse of side three- each record must be played individually in order to maintain the sequence. I like your channel for your straight-on delivery, although you talk almost too fast for the ears of this old knight who has spent the last thirty years below the Mason-Dixon Line. 🙂
Edit: One quibble, though, you shouldn’t lump ‘phono input’ in with ‘line’ or ‘aux’ they are designed for different voltage levels. Although another option is ‘tape monitor’ on older integrated amps or receivers. Or perhaps the turntable in question can sense and adapt itself. In either case, some explanation is due, in my opinion. (I know, I’m being as asshole.)
With this table you can use any of those inputs interchangeably, but I didn't make it as clear as should be that you'd need to select line for everything but a phono input. Thanks.
I am currently using my Dual 1219 turntable. Friends of mine have the Audio-Technica turntable
I like the look of that Dual.
