Like All my boys were saying shit like nah man that left hand going to put him to bed and what not and when I ask if they had ever actually watched khabib fight, and they hadnt so I pulled up him against barboza who has top notch take down defence and they still weren't convinced. My other issue is that people havent recognized that conor in my honest opinion put up debatably the best at least the 2nd best fight against khabib either way I believe conors career is over the 155 is death row for him right now, unless they introduce a 165 and have him be the first fight vs diaz #makeithappen

He did get punished for that. Fined millions. That was a completely different incident. I like Stephen A., but lost a lot of respect for his anti constitutional anti first amendment stance he just took. Conor cant be fined more because in the octagon incident he didn't do more. He threw a punch at guys charging him, that's self defense. Khabib jumped out of ring on his own accord and tried to start more fights, not self defense. Everybody always points to the bus incident, for getting that Conor in that instance was responding to Khabib going after and taking a bunch of his gangster buddies and surrounding one guy, a friend of Conors, threatening him. The next argument is Conor said mean things. In this country it's called freedom of speech, this is not Russia, and the USA will never be or try to be Russia.

It was the fact that he singled him out and surrounded him with a group of guys acting like gangsters to try and intimidate and threaten him. The whole thing was instigated by khabib, absolutely. It doesnt get the media coverage though that Mcgregors reaction attacking the bus does, which is still bad in itself and not an excuse for Mcgregor to do what he did. That aside the fines and punishments issued by the Athletic Commission of Nevada had nothing to do with those incidents but only about what actually took place in the arena after the fight.

Conor Mcgregor fans have to be seriously biased to think it's ok to fine someone 500k.
No-one has a problem with Khabib facing a longer suspension but it is insane to fine him 500k.
Let's put it into perspective. McGregor did not receive such a fine when he committed criminal damage in the state of New York.
Not even people who have committed aggravated assault or other serious criminal acts are fined 500k. Are you saying what Khabib did is worse than that?
If it was in court - do you honestly think that the judge or state would fine khabib 500k for what he did? Let's be honest - no.
Anyone who's not a casual fan of MMA knows that the Nevada State Athletic Commission is no longer state funded but now self funded. It's not difficult to process therefore why they are giving him a larger fine.
The fine is not representative of real justice but of politics.
I'm a fan of neither but you have to be seriously mentally deluded to think there is nothing wrong with Khabib's fine.

      @@Bruinsman-rh2dc
      1) No I wouldn't. Khabib deserves a longer suspension for instigating the brawl. I don't think anyone is saying otherwise. The issue is the fine.
      2) Conor only had to pay small damages which amounted to repairs to the bus/property he damaged (this was very small fine). This was the fine he was charged by the state of New York. The Nevada State Athletic Commission is also a public institution. Yet they have charged Khabib 500k. To put that into perspective people convicted of serious crimes pay less than that. Conor had to pay much more in lawsuits true - but those lawsuits were by fighters. If Khabib was being sued by McGregor's team-mates - I'd say fair play to them but they aren't.
      3) Conor shouldn't have to I agree but he did retaliate and is therefore also partly responsible - not as much as Khabib though. But regardless - you have to be seriously bias to think it's ok to fine someone 500k.
Even people convicted of serious crimes like fraud, gbh, assault etc aren't given those kind of fines.

Make fun of his religion, attack his odd looking face, make fun of his style choices. Hype up the fight, create beef, bring it into the ring, and whoever wins gets to brag about the other guy being bad and call them wrong about everything they said pre-fight. @@wwejosh1928 he barely paid for that and that was a legit criminal act and hurt fellow fighters. He only paid $50k for the bus incident. I do believe Khabib should be fined more than Conor but $500k is robbery. I think $100k-$250k is more than fair but $500k is crazy. Even the Jones/DC fines were much less and more civilians could've gotten hurt. Or when Conor threw the monster cans and hit 2 people the fine was much less.
