    Terrific little OOB build, Tim. Amazing paint job (regardless of the issues with the camo paint) and a great watch so thanks for showing how to turn something basic into a realistic model. What to build next....an aircraft.....maybe the WNW???? 😁

      Thank you Robbo, great feedback. I have started the Camel but I’d say a few weeks worth of messing about yet...

    Excellent. Loved the painting technique for the wooden deck

      Thanks Dherm... lots of things I can improve on but it’s small steps. The wood effect is an easy effect to achieve isn’t it..?

      @@TimsScaleModelling You make it look simple Tim but I'm sure that simplicity has come out of your experience. It's great how you simply the build and add the human touch which others dont. Keep up the good work and builds. I'll be avidly watching.

      Love that Dherm. I do try not to sound like a robot... you know not reading from a script or anything. No pretensions...

    A lovely tidy build and nice camo to boot. Great work all round

    Your airbrush sprays really well very satisfying to watch it paint, what air pressure is it on?

    • @TimsScaleModelling
      @TimsScaleModelling  Před 3 lety +1

      For the MRP Epic air pressure is about 5/10 psi, very low. The PC8 colour didn’t spray well at all. The Tamiya XF colour was 15/20 psi a little higher. The airbrush is a Badger Renegrade Krome.

    Tim did you have to gloss that panel before you put the oil paint wash on ?

    • @TimsScaleModelling
      @TimsScaleModelling  Před 3 lety

      No Dunc. I used a Testors Matt cote tho just even out the different paint finishes...

    How much did you thing the mrp paint to be able to do the freehand camo

    • @TimsScaleModelling
      @TimsScaleModelling  Před 3 lety +1

      The MRP is pre-thinned in the bottle so there is no need to thin any more..

      Thank you Mike. Yeah it’s a nice simple kit but heaps of diorama and weathering options. I have a couple more Great War armoured cars to build in the future…. Really like them..
