Based, the truth is that doesnt change anything. The fact that half of these so called "couples" out here dont love themselves because they're cheating and abusing each other. And im the one still single and im 24 and ive shown girls good and ive been working for over 4 years. Most of these guys out here dont work or go to school and they're getting picked uo by girls left and right.
A person can go on a decade hike with that journey, loving oneself. It's not an easy feat and I'm talking from experience... Just don't let that mentality consume you, because before you know it, life has blinked away. One can accept self, but to love, that requires powerful soul searching that can chip time away... Just food for thought.

Love how she talked about feeling protective over her character. Only the actor can truly understand their character and if she felt like Wednesday would never say something that the writers put in, good for her for standing her ground. Ultimately makes a better a project

@@population-_-420 In a patriarchal society, it's not that women have it easier it's that men have been taught to "chase" and "pursue" and women have been taught to play hard to get. This is a shitty scenario for EVERYONE where women feel guilty for going after what they want & feel passive & powerless and men feel unappreciated and never cared enough for someone to put in effort in seducing them. It's shitty for EVERYONE. Change that narrative in your head that women have it easier, we don't. We have to deal with sexism on a daily basis and in our own minds as well.

I can relate. I wasn't at all interested in dating in my early 20s - I was too preoccupied with trying to get my s#it together (i.e. education, career, etc.) I was certainly "interested" but I didn't want to make it a priority because, as we all know, time is the limited resource we all share. Jeanna has enough presence of mind to recognize that reality; good on her.
She's a woman its easy for her to get with anybody
I actually wish I had that mindset... and also with what Jenna said too. It's like developing self-confidence and independence, and it's a very self-focused journey that comes first before wanting to involve someone else romantically in your life. You gain that self-security without the need to rely on others, and that's very powerful in my opinion. I think that makes me a weak person because I long to be vulnerable and connect with someone deeply, and I honestly dislike that I do that. This makes me an emotional person when I should be more rational and practical. Like I'm with someone now, but I didn't have to. Something about being scared they'll leave one day makes me rush this process of declaring affection. It's childish really, and I hope one day I divert from this because I admit I think I'm still immature

I think it is admirable for actors to think carefully about their characters, and offer criticism and advice as to how things ought to be changed, if they see an issue emerge with the script that's inconsistent with the character they are depicting. That's a perfectly legitimate move to make.
However, unless the actor is themselves placed in a formal position of authority in making those kinds of decisions for production, ultimately it is up to the writers/directors to decide whether they accept those proposed changes or not. They may reject them stupidly. But ultimately it is their choice to make, as the creative control for production.
