Very good to hear that you will be using the old furniture and not buying new. I feel using old ones gives us more joy.
I had been using my old sofa for 18 years by changing its fabric. After experiencing 2 transfers and half a dozen shifting I decided to change my sofa to increase sitting capacity last year.
Please continue the painting as it's so satisfying to see the final look.
