I disliked him as soon as I saw him in FN product promotions. I had interest in the firearms but watching his supposed reactions to them and making the tacky script even more cringy removed any purchase consideration. All before ever hearing his opinions elsewhere. If he and FN have parted ways, I hope they produce new ads to end the product contamination and I'll reconsider them.
I won't even watch a second of his sig promotion. As soon as he was introduced I skipped to the next section of the video. That product will get no consideration. It was an incredibly long boring event video with the same appeal as sitting through a time share sales pitch.

My wife decided she wanted an AR. Obviously, I was all for it. We walk into the gun store and she tells the man "I would like to look at a couple AR15s". The guy laughs a little and pulls out a few different setups. She picks out a Daniel Defense. The guy says "Ok, I will go ahead and start writing up the paperwork". My wife says "Where's the other one?". Dude looks shocked that she seriously wanted 2, Im laughing cause my wife is shorter than most women and a very literal person and no one ever expects it from her. She ended up wanting 2 of the same rifle. The guy says "not a problem and asks her why she wants 2 of them". My wife in all her glory and badassness simply replies "In case I need spare parts". I love my wife 🤠
And legal-to-conceal-carry handguns.

I have both gen 1 and gen 2 Ruger American rifles, both triggers break crisp at 3.5 lbs. No reason to change for me. And every other gun I own has an upgraded trigger. It's the first thing I upgrade, normally.

The trigger on my Ruger American Ranch rifle is pretty damn good. Good enough not to spend $125 to upgrade it.

Walther needs to quit releasing all these PDP variations and release a dang PPS M3 that's a 1.5x stack to compete with everyone else's micros already. They're quite literally years and years behind the competition at this point
The 320 PDW needs a manual safety, as its not going to live in a holster like a regular 320.

I think the $320 less version of the PDP seems like a nice option to me since the PDPs have so far been excellent. I like having options like that and it seems like a pretty significant cost savings to me...

My old Savage Axis has a crappier trigger than my Ruger American, but the Axis II is supposed to be much nicer. So why doesn't everyone just install the better trigger as standard in their budget rifles? One would think the increased production volume would shave off some of the cost.

Did that change recently? I don’t remember. Either way it’s unlikely that it would drastically change.
Sigs execution of the Flux isn't great. That slide was just slapped on there. It looks undersized, has a optics mount that doesn't work in this application and has irons? Are they expecting you to cut off the hood of the flux chassis? It's a typical SIG afterthought/parts-bin amalgamation.

So they didn't make a Glock 10mm Raider chassis that I ever saw (literally the best possible firearm brand and caliber to make such a thing for) now it looks like they don't even offer them for Glocks anymore and they're focusing ONLY on the absolute _GARBAGE_ SIG handguns... WOW that's stupid. Incredibly stupid but then I guess maybe their main market is internet gun-hipsters who post "build" pics online more then actually shooting.
Glocks are not modular, that’s why they haven’t done a Glock raider.
