I've never seen a video from y'all. But HALLELUYAH, you nailed it with the spiritual protection portion!!!! When I purchased my property I walked the line, anointed the 4 markers and prayed loudly as I walked. For His blessing and protection on my 4 acre piece of earth. It has worked! Rarely do I have an issue with hawks, etc. Coyotes, wild dogs, possums, and a bobcat are in the woods behind me. The good Lord, a good dog, dog fencing around my chicken area have been amazing protection these last 6 years. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO.. ❤️🌱

YES!!!! Number one means of defense is praying for angels posted around the perimeter. Never met anyone else who did this. Also every seed, every plant, every animal gets prayed over.

I lived with a friend in a complex that used to get broken into constantly, we prayed over our home and belongings and expect God to protect us as He said he does. We were never broken into even through we occasionally forgot to close our windows, but our neighbors got hit constantly. The players of an earnest man avail much.
There was a Christian TV show I used to watch, with Prophetic teacher John Paul Jackson. And on one of his shows, he talked about a property he and his wife bought, and how they loved their new house, but noticed that there were dead trees, and no wildlife in their back yard (it was near woods, if I recall correctly, and they never saw a rabbit or anything wild on their property). And he said that they walked around the perimeter of their lot, and prayed over and blessed the ground, the soil, the grass and everything back there. And within weeks they started seeing life and fruitfulness in their property. Shrubs that looked dead revived, and they saw squirrels and chipmunks and all types of birds come to their yard. He passed away, and I don't know if they show reruns of his shows. But he was a good Christian man. And his insights were very interesting and eye-opening.

I love your gate idea! I have never seen a gate like that. I also had no idea about daffodils and rabbits, I just love the flowers all over my yard. I am Native American and while the spiritual path I walk is different I believe that how we communicate with nature absolutely matters. Our words and intent matter and using that is absolutely a tool we should utilize to protect our homes and our harvest. I appreciate people who speak openly about what they believe, your heart and love are in everything you do to protect your home and it shows. I am happy to be here to share in your knowledge.

Good against a ground attack but what about aerial predators. A couple of tips for you there: 1. Buy a cheap holiday garland at the dollar store or Walmart. Cut it up into sections, a few inches long. Secure these to the posts of your electric fence. Our electric fence has a slot in the top for the wire. I slide the string attached to the garland in there too. That way I can easily remove it. The hawks absolutely hate this sparkle in the sun stuff. 2. Make some magnetic pvc scarecrows. Place strong magnets in the rounded pvc cap. Attach the cap to the bottom of a pvc pipe. Glue magnets to the OUTSIDE of another smaller pvc cap. Attach the cap to the bottom of a smaller pvc pipe. Place the smaller pvc pipe inside the larger pvc pipe. Add couplings and pipes to the top of the smaller pvc pipe to form the arms and head of the scarecrow. Hang your scarecrow on the pipes. Because the magnets repel each other, this scarecrow will move and rotate in the slightest breeze. Direct some solar powered motion detector lights at the scarecrow. It will light up at random times all night. Place these scarecrows around your property at strategic points. Everything coming your way will find a detour around your property. 3. Feed your dogs only at your garden. They will wait there to be fed. We feed ours in the morning. But at the crack of dawn or dusk, a time when animals like deer are on the move, at least one of the dogs will be waiting at the garden. 4. Place all weather dog den houses at strategic locations around the property. Our dogs will patrol all their dens (which they use at different times of the year) no matter whether they are currently using them or not. 5. Teach your dog to patrol the perimeter by command. I can tell my dogs to “go on patrol” and they will patrol the perimeter and then return to the house. A good command if you hear something strange. 6. Teach your dog the “family” command. If I tell my dog that a stranger is family, He will stop barking and sniff the newcomers, then go lay down and watch them, but he will leave them alone. He will also recognize them if they return to the house. Of course this command has to be reinforced a bit. This comes in real handy if you need to go out of town and need someone to watch your homestead and feed your livestock while you are away.

Yep. I remember when we put our first electric fence up. Our Pyreness pranced over to the fence to climb out (we didn’t know how he was getting out until then). He touched it, got shocked and never climbed the fence again. It was the weakest electric you can get. We have since gone up a notch. He died last year. 15 years old. Best. Dog. Ever. We still have his “wife” and puppy (now grown).
And YES!!!! We pray over ALL and everything. Amen and amen!!!! Pray before we drive our car ect. You either speak a blessing or a curse. No in between.
Had our electric fence kill a snake.
We have a special needs child. We HAVE to have many security measures for her and our peace of mind.
Now that is one hot fence!

My wife had a trio of Pyrenees and every night they would head out like a gang looking to defend their turf.blood. she could hear the coyotes then they would come back every morning sometimes covered in bood. She kept checking but
It was never their blood. :)
We had one pyr later and our kids would climb him and ride him. Never had to worry about it. Good choice for security

We have couple hundred goats and dozen cows. Our 5 pyrenees maremma cross dogs do an awesome job....we are rural Saskatchewan. Tons of coyotes, foxes, black bears ...even odd cougar. My only worry is a wolf pack showing up
You bet we have blessed our land at the boundaries. Yes we have Angels guarding our Drive gate. And we ask that anybody that comes through their is blessed and protected. Anything that is not of the Father it's not allowed. We have declared this Land as Holy Land . You bet there's been a change. Excellent idea praying over every tree plant or any item that you bring across your boundaries. Awesome idea

Intel assessment of OA is important.
I'm a former soldier, myself -- and indeed apply similar tiers/rings of redundancy and such to my own homestead. e.g. tiering water: Collecting, routing/swales, storing. Portable, grey/reclaimed, black-water/septic/sewer. Within your perimeter landscaping, much like your nitrogen fixers, I'd also suggest you also consider some "defensive" landscaping (especially at the corners and such.) Thorny shrubs/trees, cacti, etc. Some can be ornamental (roses.) Some can be fruit-bearing (blackberries and gooseberries,) etc.
You mentioned deer, rabbits, neighbors dogs, and bears. Naturally, we should also consider humans and BIRDS, too! You mentioned military defense (being able to SEE) the area being defended. I've had a TON of luck with Ring solar/battery/wireless cameras. They include motion detectors, lighting, sirens, two-way mic/speakers, etc. And, we can't forget the good ol' scarecrows and fake-owls and fake-snakes -- to help ward-off birds. I've heard of people having a lot of luck with hanging old-school CDs from fishing line on their scarecrow arms (to create motion/reflection.) One of my wife's uncles always kept a radio station playing out back -- audible/voices to help ward-off critters/strangers. (I always wondered how his critters actually SLEPT with all that nonstop racket?...) (wink)
Air cover: Bat-boxes helped us to reduce some of the mosquito predators, too!
We've heard some people also use Purple Martin houses (near water source) to help reduce unwanted insects, too. In Florida, most of the outdoor restaurants/dining areas strung fishing line across overhead above tables and dining areas. This helped prevent seagulls and some other birds from coming down to the tables to steal food. I had considered doing the same above our own garden? Haven't tried it, yet, however.
Lastly, diversion sometimes helps, too. Planting excess volumes of your favorite berries and fruit trees will hopefully provide enough for the wildlife, PLUS yourself. Maybe planting of a mulberry tree at your corner/perimeter (far as possible from your garden) will help divert some of the wildlife, elsewhere? Ditto with a strategically-placed watering hole (maybe near the mulberry tree) -- OUTSIDE your actual perimeter fencing -- so wildlife isn't tempted to come INSIDE your fence line to quench their thirst.
I'd encourage you to keep-up the thoughts about tiering principles. Multiple ways to defend your home/homestead against fires? Multiple compost tiers/types? Multiple types of mulches? etc.

I knew an older lady named Grace who had no money for her flower garden. When friends would giver her perennials for her garden, she would pray for them when she was in her yard looking at her flowers. She gave us perennial flowers and a few trees thinned from her garden. She has passed away now, but we still have her flowers and trees.
It sounds like she had a really awesome way to maintain her legacy!
I've walked the perimeter of our property 7 times, praying for protection on the land and blessing for those who cross on to our property. I believe that one day, it will be a safe-haven for people left behind but find the Lord. God bless you and your family and may He richly bless your harvests!

Gotta say Billy, when you were hesitating about sharing your next point and it ended up being spiritual protection, that’s when you really got my attention. We’ve experienced the same thing and I 100% agree-that’s the most important of them all!
Sounds like you’ve got some stories (and so do we) about how we had crazy things going on, which finally stopped only by praying specifically in Jesus’ name over/around our property.
I really like how you’re doing the hot wire too. Going to have to work toward that on our place. Thankfully we have a permanent perimeter fence in mostly decent repair, as well as an inner fence surrounding our house and shop and garden areas. Need to work on making it all hot though, and adding gates.

I am deeply religious but not a Christian.I practice an indigenous European religion
It warms my heart tremendously to hear you talking about how important spiritual defense is to you, especially in regards to your land.
In our tradition , getting into right relationship with the land, and the spirit beings there is seen as ESSENTIAL to having a thriving homestead.
What is fascinating to me, is how similar youall do it to how we do it. We also create a perimeter with prayer and invoke protectors at the corners of the property.We also make sure that anyone who lives there or visits that land behaves ethically and wholesomely to make sure we all keep in right relationship between the human , spiritual and natural world
It seems that 2 traditions , separated by 1000s of years of different cultures, came to the same conclusions That congruence would suggest that this spiritual component is truly vital when people are trying to thrive in a wholesome way close to the land
