Thanks for the honest report. Though it is worth pointing out that you are among the luckier ones because you were on one of PAL's newer 77Ws. There are still a lot of older-style 77W cabins, in fact a majority of them are of the old style. Nonetheless, I agree that PAL should have a relatively consistent long-haul product because the Toronto flights get 1-2-1 business and a proper premium economy cabin.
As for the food, I've got to say that it's either hit-or-miss when it comes to the options.

Terminal 1 has been the terminal I've had to fly out of three times now, so crazy crowded at check in especially now with the state of the world. Great vlog :)

As an Asian, I'd say that if you have tried the sausage and egg choice, you'd feel that the Asian choice is much better

Sometimes it’s a hit or miss. I agree that there are times that the Asian option is better than the Western option and vice versa.
