In Ilocano (northwest Luzon) that purple dish is called tumbo tumbong! So good. We only eat it for new years in the US.
Ahhh nice info buddy! That’s a shame then, you need to get back to philippines to have it whenever you want 🤤😅
Try also to visit Dolomite Beach and Venice Grand Canal Mall

Ei, Connor! Binondo is a foodie’s mecca, with a high energy vibe, busy, and somewhat chaotic. Good choices on trying the local snacks, as well as the dumplings and siopao. Love your energy and interactions - that’s another awesome vid, bro! 👍🤩

Those food, like ginataan, halo halo, banana cue, turon, etc are more like snacks (meryenda) in between meals and more than desserts. They're meant to be food to tide you over before the main meal. Pinoys always snack, they can be sweet, like halo halo or savoury like pancit or siopao, etc.
Ahhh I see, great information Archie, thanks! Yes I like all of them, they were very sweet and I’m a big sweet and chocolate lover 🍫. What’s your favourite one?
@kayyywild ginataan is my favourite, its the warm version of halo halo. Turon is my other fave

Kumusta kuya Conor are u still in the UK?do u have filipino alcohol there?if u have I suggest try and make content to taste and make assumption. No. 1 alcohol drinks here is genebra gin, emperador lights, alfonso lights which is brandy and red horse beer.
Hey brother! I we do not have any Filipino red horse unfortunately 🤣. Yes I am in the UK now, but returning to Philippines soon! Oooww I will have to try those drinks, thanks! Always love your comments Kuya!
I still recommend for you to try Filipino dishes/delicacies though.. you are in the Philippines and you eating/trying foreign (Chinese) foods is a not really entertaining. 😂
