So motivating for the outside world to see couples hold hands together to help such young ones especially with that unique characteristics, I equally have autistic boy, Brighton hitting 5yrs in a month time but just get it that it has never been that easy for such kids and their care takers, I.e the parents! Cudos to the parents with autistic kids!
Your comment at the end hit home so hard. My son is 5 and yes, the older he gets the harder things are. His behaviour is not as accepted the older he gets I find. I get it, I get actual anxiety when we take him anywhere. But, we make a plan to abort everything if he's uncomfortable. Shopping can wait 😊
I can definitely relate to your feelings. The hardest outings for us are places where the expectation is for everyone to sit down and be quiet. For example churches or movie theaters.

i watch everything the hardest for me your own birthdays is when I realize that my son doesn’t have typical friends for his age or maybe not even friends that are kids at all and yes, it is very hard to go out in public and I appreciate you sharing your life and your family and your positives and your negatives with Christianand also with Sadie and her role as a sister because my son also has an older sister so thank you
