The “Whistlin Diesel” CZcams channel is known for testing the resistance of different well-known vehicles in the most unusual ways. The test subject on this occasion was a Toyota Hilux. In several tests, the Japanese brand's quintessential truck demonstrated its power, until the channel upped the ante by dropping it from a helicopter.
The “Whistlin Diesel” team hitched the Hilux to a Kaman K-Max helicopter. The first drop test for the truck was at a height of 152 meters. The vehicle fell on its end and although it resisted for a good part, one of its axles was destroyed.
