So I recently spent the last 5 days of my life watching every single WWE Money in the Bank PPV. All the from 2010 until 2022.. kind of. Ahead of this years show that is taking place in a few weeks, I wanted to go back and see the evolution of the PPV that is now considered apart of the BIG 4 WWE Shows of the year. How good were the shows? how and when did it become such a good show, and what happened on all the Money in the Bank shows that I don't even remember? I must say it was fun, from seeing young stars like Cody Rhodes and Drew Mcintyre, to seeing John Cena be Mr. MITB and carry so many shows on his back. Now to Roman Reigns.. It was a wild journey. So I decided to make a video.. I Watched Every WWE MITB PPV... So You Don't Have To

What this Title Mean Pav 😂
Please play aew fight forever 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
What you think of a aew fight forever so far from what you seen
can you do john cena vs nexus feud next
WrestlinGifs me an you had the same childhood 😂that money in the bank 2011 hit’s different
MITB 2011 was also the beginning of Mark Henry's Hall of Pain run
Best ppv of the decade
Thats factssssssss
Yep
One of the greatest things of 2011 outside of CM Punk, Awesome Truth, Daniel Bryan, The Rock returns and Orton/Christian feud What a Time
@@pleaseshutup7053 Keep capping lil bro
2011 MITB was not only the best MITB, but it had one of the best main events being the iconic CM Punk vs John Cena match.
this is my ffavourite wrestling match till today
"I'm Punjabi, I love Jinder Mahal... But why is Jinder Mahal on my screen?"
Naturally.
I have to say my favorite has to be MITB 2011 and 2016.
- 2011 you had 2 great ladder matches, Randy vs Christian was good, and obviously Cena vs Cm punk was incredible
- 2016 you had a good fatal 4 tag team opener, the first Cena vs styles matches which was excellent, The MITB ladder match was amazing, it’s in my top 3 MITB ladder matches. Seth vs Roman was a great main event and Ambrose cashing in MITB was awesome ending as well.
2010 had 3 ladder mtches wrestlemania 26 & money in the bank 2010
Nice to see love for MITB 2013. The first ppv I attended. Great times.
2013, in my hometown of Philly. I didn't go to Money in the Bank 2013, unfortunately. Hopefully I find the chance to attend Wrestlemania 40 here in Philadelphia come 2024!
Yeah, MITB 2013 really is underrated event. I don't hear people giving much love it deserves.
@@adriansmith5279 See you at Mania 40! 🤞
2011 by far the best one hands down. Especially Cena vs Punk magical night
Bro the between those two was pure greatness 😩🔥
That CM Punk entrance still gives me goosebumps
Cena vs Punk was legendary and the show as a whole was amazing. Not a bad match on the card.
Ofc it was
FACTS.
MITB 2011 was on a league of it’s own. No MITB PPV has come close to it ever since. 2011 is the WrestleMania 17 of MITB PPVs and PLEs
MITB 2011 is one of the greatest PPV/PLE in Wrestling History. A shame WWE doesn't want you to acknowledge it. Because of course CM Punk the main character of that show and his relationship with the company since. Also that year MITB winners were Daniel Bryan and Albert Del Rio, either of them no longer with the company but still a fun event to look back.
2016 in retrospect, just a fun time. But combine this with NBA Finals Game 7 being on at the same time with Rollins/Reigns and the Ambrose cash in, boy was that a fun night.
I was at MITB 2016 and although it was a fun show, in retrospect I wish I watched Game 7 instead due to it's historic significance
Yeah, that Finals game 7 was surely a “fun” night….if you were a Warriors fan like me lol. But seeing Ambrose win and cash-in on the same night, being the third Shield member to have the WWE Title, at least drowned some of the pain I had being a Dubs fan that night.
@@TheMaytricks Funny cause I watched Game 7 instead of MITB 2016. I wasn't watching wrestling at the time
Did you guys know that in MITB 2011, John Cena was in the crowd lol
MITB 2010 the time Kane finally got his world title run he deserved and as a die hard Kane fan that was one of my favorite moments I truly enjoyed it
Money in the bank ladder match 2010 there was 3 of them wrestlemania 26 1st the other two at money in the bank 2010 swagger the miz & kane
I randomly went to the raw that opened with the 2016 contestants cutting promos while sitting on top of the ladders and got reinvested in wrestling. Man what a fun year to look back on
That segment with everyone on the ladder was so good in 2016, they try that again in 2018 but wasn't that great with everyone Shouting and screaming at one another. They were doing too much!
kinda sad you skipped the 2020 match. I loved that one, it's so unique and somewhat makes me miss what magic WWE can pull off during the pandemic era
Definitely agree.
Even though Otis didn't do much, Asuka's win was so great, and I love matches that take place in weird places.
I think money in the bank 2014 ppv was favorite for two reasons
1. Seth Rollins wins the briefcase
2. John Cena becomes the 15th World champion.
Yes! I agree.
I always replay Cena winning his 15 title and then wearing it like a scarf.
MITB 2022 was pretty solid though. Liv cashing in and winning, the ladder matches going stupid crazy, etc. Nothing too major but still memorable
Also Usos vs Street Profits in an absolute classic of a match
I m happy that Liv won and right now wish her the best recovering from her current injury. But they need to stop with the Women’s briefcase holder only cashing in with a matter of seconds!
Usos vs Street Profits had a classic as well
It would be cool if you did a series like this going back and rewatching old ppvs. Good job as always Pav I enjoy watching your videos.
fax this type of style of videos is very entertaining to watch, hope he does more
Money in the bank 2011 will never be topped
🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Yeah it set the bar really high. It's almost impossible to top
No ppv has gotten close to top it
fr 2011 is the year where MITB was way more memorable than the wrestlemania
I went to MITB 2021 and it was just a blast. As a big John Cena fan, this show was just perfect for me. The last 2/3rds of this show was just epic.
Being a Kane fan, him winning and cashing it on the same night was a dream come true!
I think this year's MITB is gonna be legendary. Match card aside, it's in London, and crowds in other countries are always nuts.
Not really big on this year MITB in all honesty, just not feeling it. But agree this year edition of Money in the Bank can be fun.
Shoutout to Wrestling gifs on this video, it was good. Him pointing out how the Money in the Bank has his up's and down's, best describes how we alawys look at WWE. When WWE at his best, expect something good. Especially with Money in the Bank!
Kane was my favourite superstar in 2010 ill never forget how happy i was that night he won and cashed in, so unexpected.
I remember watching the whole MITB 2013 ppv on CZcams a day after the ppv, and that ladder match is goated. But my favorite MITB has to be 2021 because I remember being so hyped for the show and I was excited to see the crowds return, 2016 is my second favorite.
2011 was really good for obvious reasons, but 2014, 2016, and 2021 I thought were also good shows too. Id say the good PPV-specific MITB winners were Orton, Seth, and Ambrose. Asuka and Liv winning were cool too.
MITB 2014 was terrible. I don't like it. But the actual MITB ladder match saves the show.
Congratulations on the sponsor Pav well deserved brother
The first wwe ppv I went to was Money in the bank in 2016 that night was everything to me seeing Cena vs styles for the first time in my hometown was just everything plus seeing Dean Ambrose cash in on Rollins to be champ I miss the good ol days
Yeah 2016 was a good year. The company was improving It's product as the year went by and Money in the Bank good example how good that year was. It was a fun time to be a wrestling fan looking back at it.
I actually liked it better when the Money in the Bank match was on Wrestlemania before they started turning every match type into its own ppv.
Everyone agrees

No mention of the 2020 edition? It was fun and and most of his whacky moments had a positive vibe (except the R-Truth segment).
One of the worst
Who remembers it?

The double MITB
Rollins vs McIntyre
Wyatt vs Strowman
R-Truth vs Lashley (only DUD of the card, Tbf)
Tamina vs Bayley
4-way for the SmackDown Tag Titles
I personally think that they should revamp the Money in the Bank concept by saying that there's 1 of 2 things inside:
1. A World Title Shot
2. $250,000
Imagine the number of storylines this opens because then, Mr. MITB is not subjected to the old familiar storyline but can actually use the briefcase to heighten a personal feud. It would be awesome!
That aj v kaitlyn match was a revelation. I did not have the maturity/attention span to fully appreciate what those two were doing back in 2013 but wow that was sick watching this match for the 1st time just now.
In your defense. That was before the Women’s Revolution, before the four horsewomen show up and the Women’s Division taking seriously.
MITB 2016 was soo good man. I remember staying up all night watching it and then going to school on 2 hours sleep but not caring because my guy Dean Ambrose was champion. Good times.
2013 raw men’s mitb was heat and 2022 street profits and usos was a banger
I am still shook that you forgot to point out the absolute BANGER that was ROLLINS VS MCINTYRE IN THE PC
Haha "I'm watching Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio while my friends are out partying, I- I love my life..." that killed me. xD
Love your vids brother. Glad I found you! No other youtuber nails my own personal views on these events of wrestling any better!
While I will always prefer MITB as a WrestleMania match type, I will admit some of its PPVs were really enjoyable. 2010, 2011, and 2021 are definitely my top 3 MITB events. 2010 and 2011 bring so much nostalgia with the talent and had plenty of great matches, and 2021 was incredible due to the full time return of crowds and that ending with John Cena. Here’s hoping this year’s event is a banger🤞🙏.
Much thanks for saving us time, homie, much love to you.❤️
FACTS.
Nikki Cross winning money in the bank was the most disappointing in horrible idea I ever seen especially with the superhero gimmick🤦♂️
Someone give this man an award for what he has done
MITB 2011 and 2016 are GOAT PPVs IMO
also a 25 Minutes WrestlinGifs video? Big W
Ayo How did I forget about 2021 MITB like that's one of the best PPVs of all time
MITB PPVs are always pretty good lol
Seeing this video made me smile bc I’ve talk about this man mitb if done right is a top tier PPV of the year🔥🔥🔥
MITB 2016 was my first money in the bank and it was awesome because I had started watching wrestling again in summer 2015 and some of the ppv's were good but this one really got me watching it on a weekly basis from then on
2021 MITB holds a special place in my heart beacuse out of no where our childhood legend and goat john cena returned i seriously not expecting that return. It was purely goosebumps man emotions spread out screams happened and all other crazy stuff
What a stupid moment. He comes back and leaves the Next month for The whole year and a half after promising to be back
The match meant more as a Wrestlemania staple. The women's is a glorified after thought that's why only person has gotten to hold it longer than a week. And it gave Mania a extra little something for the spotlight worthy talent that didn't have a singles fued or title opportunity
my favorite MITB match is 2005
it's not even from the ppv
but we can't deny how that match was banger with all the names
I mean imagine if kofi was a few years older and was in this match imagine how fire this would be
“But having 6 other idiots willing to die definitely makes up for it” 🤣🤣🤣

2013 WWE title MITB match is my fav MITB, but 2019 is a close 2nd except for the finish
MITB 2022 wasn’t too bad. Yeah theory winning was very dumb but the card overall was pretty solid. Plus liv winning and cashing in on ronda was a feel good moment
It was lame
@@pleaseshutup7053 The men’s ladder match was still good and had good spots in the match despite theory winning which was a dumb call I’ll admit. The women’s ladder match was a pretty good way to open the show with liv rightfully winning. The street profits vs the usos stole the show in one of the best matches from that year. Hell, even lashley vs theory was a pretty underrated match. Identify “lame” in any of that😂😂😂 don’t be so quick to judge just because someone else said it wasn’t worth watching
@@Dbryson-0823 liv is trash only simps like her. The street profits and usos stole the show because nothing else interesting happened. And theory winning the was the dumbest decision of the year he was added to the match just because I hate when wwe insults the audience intelligence it ruins the whole illusion of wrestling. And didn’t the fans turn on liv immediately 🤣🤣 they had a fan favorite instead of a journey to the title it was all of sudden. Wwe bookers are clowns with everyone outside the bloodline
that was a really good video ♥ thanx man
thank god I wasn't watching WWE from 2017 to 2020
Cena vs punk in 2011 is a top 10 match of all time for me personally just the story behind it the match itself and the final moments seeing punk blowing a kiss to Vince while running out of Chicago is just iconic and I can be a little biased because I’m from Chicago
I liked MITB 2011, 2013, 2019, and 2021 however 2021 is my favorite you had Big E win Roman vs Edge great match John Cena return and crowds returning and 2019 is my second favorite you had Bayley win the briefcase and the title and Seth vs AJ
This is my favourite video on your channel brother.
I had such a rush of nostalgia running through this entire video as you started from me being a 13 year old in 2010 to 26 year old now in 2023.
2011,2016 and 2021 are my top 3 all time favorites ever because of unforgettable moments , banger matches and underrated classics and also remembering where and what i was at that point in my life :')
I would've given 2013 a top 3 if cody would've won that. they could've had cody become the world heavyweight champion and we would be getting cena vs rhodes for the world title and hell i would've had loved randy vs cena vs cody for tlc 2013 unification ladder match
and as far as my awards go
Best- MITB 2011
Worst - MITB 2017(2022 didn't got this award because of usos vs street profits and liv morgan's crowning otherwise theory with the briefcase makes me throw up)
Underrated- 2013
Best MITB ladder match - 2016
best match - Cena vs punk
favourite match - again cena vs punk
Best MITB moment- Its a tie between cm punk and dean ambrose closing the show with winning the WWE Championship. cena's return in 2021 is second by just 0.999999999999999999999 difference lol XD.

2016 MITB was the first PPV i attended and i could'nt ask for a better MITB PPV to have been at from start to finish i thought was just banger after banger i got inside during the kick off show and saw the Dudley Boyz come out something i thought i would never see in person since they've been around since the 90s. i will always hold a special place in my heart for the MITB PPV simply because of 2016s MITB even if i dont always like the whole card or who wins ( brock and Austin Theory winnin)
i have a feeling you cant get into really old school wrestling, i think i heard u mention it once in an older video .... but just 4 kicks it would be awesome if u did like 1988, 1989, and 1990 summerslam. just to give younger guys a brief taste of how different and weird stuff was back then.
Nah I do appreciate a lot of it tbh, I love learning about it and everything. From AWA to WCW to WWF lol. I just don’t think it would do good views. But I’m down. Why not
@@WrestlinGifs yes!!! See, i had a measured take. Asking u to review every single summerslam would be f'n mental.

It's always been quite a strong ppv but the very best ones are 2011, 2016 and 2021... Especially 2011, greatest show of all time apart from WrestleMania X-7 and personally I view Money in the Bank 2011 as my favorite ppv of all time
I’m sorry how does Corbin winning the briefcase ruin mitb? He’s way better than your giving him credit for

Great VIdeo. I like the format. How about you watch every wrestlemania :D
2011 was a spectacle hoooolyyy.. i also liked this year … This is just my fave Premium Live event besides Mania/Rumble though. Yes better than Summerslam & Survivor Series 😅😅
Yeah I agree
The 2015 men’s match wasn’t really anything special
And yet for whatever reason, it’s one of the very few full length money in the bank matches that the wwe CZcams channel has kept uploaded for years
Probably cause it’s Roman’s only money in the bank ladder match
That 2011 cover is a spoiler, isn't it? LOL.
yo pls keeo making these videos we really enjoy them
I’ll also defend 2020’s MITB match for being such a fun change of pace. It’s better then most remember it being. Sure, Otis winning was a bad decision and Asuka only held it for a day but the match ended up being one of my favorite pandemic period experiment matches. Also, but of flowers goes to Drew/Rollins from 2020.
Bray vs Braun was good...or much better than anyone expected.
Also Otis was over as hell at the time because of the well-written love triangle between him, Mandy Rose and Dolph Ziggler.
Before COVID started he was cheered more than usual by the crowd, so It was understandable to give him the briefcase.
I think it would have been better if it wasn’t at the same time
@@pleaseshutup70532020 MITB is easily the worst one. Literally felt like I was watching a comedy skit

Yea I hated WWE from 2014-2020 minus 2016
Well for me, MITB started at Wrestlemania 21 and up until that Jack Swagger winning the MITB at wm 26 and started making it into a ppv, MITB was exciting as a ppv until WWE was barely putting any effort into MITB shows between 2017 & 2021. Granted there was some solid matches though some results of the MITB matches pissed fans off to no end. The MITB match at WWE headquarters was pretty great just didn't like how it ended with Otis catching the briefcase. That felt ridiculous to me
Luckily MITB has been sort of better lately but they really need to stop shoehorning a last minute entrant in the MITB match.

ight now that this done…when is the watching every wrestlemania video coming out 😹
Since Dean, Jericho and Bryan left WWE, this promotion has not been the same. At least for me.
2016 was by far the best year for WWE in the last 10.
and AJ styles, nakamura, Strowman, mcIntyre and sheamus are now just "dudes" on the roster to fill out the card and dont feel special at all.
Incredible video
Can u do a video on hbk and hhh rivalry in 2002?
You should definitely do this with other ppvs as well. I'd watch an every wrestlemania video, or royal rumble
Money in the bank 2011 and 2016 were my favorite by far. Money in the bank 2011 is by far the better pay-per-view of the 2 but 2016 is a close second. WWE in 2016 was low key so great! Especially SmackDown. A.k.a. SmackDown live at the time... you had the brand split brought back,… You had a lot of the single, branded, exclusive, pay per views. It was so good. Don’t get me wrong… Obviously, I like the ruthless aggression era better and the triple H era is and was golden! But 2016 WWE just hits different. 2016 music too lol
I gotten back into wrestling mid 2015 so 2016 was the first full year I watched of the company in years and I feel so lucky I just so happen to be watching it again at that point. It also feels weirdly nostalgic to me now despite it not even being a decade old yet.
I’ll never forget how behind Corbin I was from 2016-2017 until they destroyed him!
Dropping the lone wolf gimmick was the biggest mistake ever and making him a terribly obnoxious GM was horrible! I know people may look back and say it was a terrible choice for him to win but I disagree, he was great back then and I really wanted him to win. But because he called out a highly disrespectful worker for bashing concussion/CTE patients they killed his push and he’s never been the same… just great
Can't wait to see who will win at the 2023 MITB
imagine that Vince McMahon chose to put the HW title on Swagger because he just didn't wanted to put the title on Punk, Christian, or Kofi. And the main-eventers(Cena, Edge, Sheamus, Orton, Jericho) were on RAW fighting for the WWE World Championship
Apparently Swagger would had cashed on Cena in earlier plans but Cena refused to job to him.
@@jimjaspers3050not thank God because he cashed in on Chris Jericho and ruined that reign
